Hello, again Inuyasha & Yashahime fandom!! It is time for our annual Kagome Redraw Event!!!
This event marks our third year with the fandom, bringing some shine and love to new or expert artists. Without your support, this event would never come true, thank you very much!!

So... this is my entry for the @kagomeredraw event. I'm really excited for this one!

My original idea was to draw Kagome as the reference portrayed her, with brush strokes across the image showing hints of Midoriko's image. But that became too messy to work with, so I just used a mirroring effect to (hopefully) get the same idea across.
This is sort of a teaser/fanart for the fanfic I've been working on. After I deal with a few more loose ends (and personal issues), that'll be done, too!!!

The Kagome Redraw returns this 17 - 24 September 2022!
The Kagome Redraw was first run in July 2020, the aim being to have people across the Inuyasha fandom share a drawing in their own style of the same iconic image of our heroine (just like the Sailor Moon redraw which had gone viral by May of 2020.) One Kagome, many variations! A second event was held in August of 2021 and now we return for our third year running!
The Kagome Redraw Event image poll is now closed, a big thank you to everyone who participated! We had a really great response to our poll this year and really hope to see lots of new participants in the redraw event.
The Event will be begin on 17/09/22 and the run for the next 7 days. All you have to do to participate is post your re-draw and tag us @inuyasharedraw and use the #kagomeredrawevent2022 hashtag.
Thank you very much if you have been with us this whole time and if you are a newcomer then welcome friend! We hope you like this year’s event!
