from my work in progress webcomic, traversion. ka'meisha is my beautiful blind bisexual bahamian babygirl who deserves everything, actually. 5'9". she/her only. she genuinely enjoys long walks on the beach but loves getting in the water more! will teach you how to swim if you don't.
she works as the live music at a rooftop bar in miami. incredibly extroverted, if you catch her after a set, she might share a drink with you! but hers will always be alcohol free. also in college for marine biology.
just be kind and don't touch her or her cane w/o permission and she'll enjoy your company <3

Deuce Evergreen
Set in Miami, Deuce tries to live life normally despite him being anything but. Being the only alien he's met, he always wondered why he was allowed to be adopted into a human family instead of sent back, or worse. In time, he learns why his hometown is called 'The Magic City'.

The circumstances around Deuce's appearance on Earth is a mystery.. to everyone but himself. He knows exactly where he came from, but has no interest in going back. His adoptive mother, Sylvia, fought like hell to adopt and keep him, but aliens simply weren't and still are not real to the average human. What was he missing? Why was he allowed to stay?
While at work on a normal night at Vybes Nightclub, Deuce went to report something to his boss and was greeted with something else: a murder. In order to keep Deuce's mouth shut, they blackmailed him into helping with "odd jobs" around the club, lest he never saw his family again.
With every new odd job finished, a new piece of the puzzle bridging his past and his present fell into place. There are people vaguely like him that exist, but in the shadows. Deuce wasn't the only one with secrets blackmailed by his boss.
And the government is nastier than the average conspiracy theorist could ever dream of.
While he tries to keep his boss off his back, he goes through things the average 20 something goes through: love, loss, and drama. It's only a matter of time until someone who prides himself on being reserved breaks.
