i know its like, important, but christ almighty do i really need to take like 3 classes where we go over how water flows and types of weathering
#like. if i took Sedimentology And Stratigraphy.#which was Entirely about how sediment is eroded and transported.#do we need like two whole lectures about chemical and physical weathering beyond how it applies specifically to geomorphology?#do we really need to get into how fuckin Frost Wedging works?#do we really need to spend time explaining the difference between laminar and turbulent flow again?#just make sed/strat a prereq for geomorph. there. now all u have to do is say 'remember laminar flow? yeah cool so its that'#im bitching about it more than its worth tbh like yeah its not like we spent That much time going over each thing again#but it accumulates. just like sediment when stream energy decreases and the rate of deposition is greater than the rate of erosion.#birdsong
