Aside from the 2014-2015 NYE Event in Ft Lauderdale, it's been awhile since I shot with my D3200. I haven't quite gotten the feel of using it and prefer my D40 over it.

Two of the differences between the D3200 and the D40 is that the D3200 records High Definition 1080p video and the D40 doesn't. The D3200 records photographs at 24.2mp and the D40 @ 12mp

Since getting the D3200, I've had alot of problems with it. For starters, the D3200 shoots .NEF files that are supported in Photoshop CS6 and the prepackaged Nikon software that comes with it. At the time I was running Photoshop CS2. This created a problem in my workflow, also video editing required me to upgrade my workstation.

At first glance, I don't notice too much of a color difference between the two. Alot will change once I get the hang of the D3200.
