Sliding in the DMs Part XVI
“Well… looks like we gotta face the music.” Arty mused, watching the scenery pass by on their drive from the airport to Joey’s place in Costa Mesa.
Joey just made a sound of acknowledgment and stayed quiet. His favorite Tame Impala album played lowly in the background as he kept his eyes on the road. His eyebrows were furrowed together, obviously from the stress of their marriage leaking and his family’s negative reaction to the news - mostly his father’s reaction.
Arty was exhausted too. Athena was still troubled with her but respected Arty’s wish to talk in person after the honeymoon. There was still no word yet from her parents. She was sure her mom would reach out at this most inopportune time for Arty. That’s how she rolled.
Being back in the US seemed to only magnify the amount of texts and voicemails Arty got. She kept her phone on silent and didn’t post a thing on social media during their honeymoon. After talking to her grandparents and texting Athena back, she got it out only to take pictures of the beautiful landscapes of Saint Barts, but that’s where it ended.
They tried their best to capitalize on what was left of their honeymoon, spending time lounging in the sun, swimming in the ocean, shopping, going out on a rental boat, collecting seashells, and exploring as much of the beautiful island as they could.
She was exhausted now, however, as she knew there was a shit storm coming their way whether they were ready to face it or not. And that shitstorm was Joey’s family.
Pulling into the driveway of his Costa Mesa home, Joey noticed right away the two rental cars parked in his driveway and immediately let out an aggravated, “fuck!”
Arty didn’t even flinch because she was too busy staring at the vehicles with a blank face.
Looks like it was time to face the storm head-on, then. No prep time at all.
Joey laid his head against the wheel before looking up again. He stared at Arty with tired eyes, his frown lines more pronounced and his brows furrowed in frustration.
Arty forced a smile and reached over to grip his hand on the steering wheel. He turned his hand over to grip hers and lifted it to press a kiss against the top of her hand. “We’re going to be ok,” She reassured gently. “Whatever happens, happen. Just know I’m here for you through it all and no one is going to chase me away from you, Joey. I love you.”
He smiled back at her for her words and leaned in to press a deep kiss to her lips, using his free hand to cup her cheek.
He pulled back and smiled at her once more, nerves still showed in his eyes, but he was also calmer now. “I love you too.”
He turned his eyes back to his house, seeing his brother, Nick, peek through the curtain at them blatantly with unimpressed eyes.
“What’s that fucking idiot staring at?” Joey grumbled as he glared back at his younger brother. “He better not say shit to me given what he’s been sneaking around doing.”
Arty laughed at that, “Well, I’m sure he’s probably here to support you, Joey. That or he upset my sister and he’s here for help. Our situation might be a cover for his romance issues.”
“Of course. Gonna sit back and let me get dog-piled on until he gets a moment alone to ask for relationship help. Like usual.” Joey rolled his eyes and stared at an amused Arty. “He bothered the shit out of me to help him with his ex, Jenna. As if I, a single man at the time, would be able to fix that train accident waiting to happen. Anyway, let’s get in there and get this over with. The sooner this is over, the sooner I can kick them all out and we can get some sleep.”
Arty nodded and exited the car with him.
Nick opened the door and stared at them with disapproving eyes. “Way to run off after getting married and leaving me to get grilled by every-fucking-person you know, Joey!”
“Shut up or get the fuck out, Nicky. I am about to get my ass grilled in there. So either stand aside and shut up, or go back to whatever hotel you have your ass staying at.” Joey said lowly.
Nick glared back. “Well fuck it.. Welcome back I guess.” He held his hand out for a shake and Joey instead pulled him into a hug, smacking his back roughly. Nick laughed at that and hugged him back. “Congrats, bro.”
They let go of one another and backed up. Nick lifted his eyes to his new sister-in-law and smiled. “Congratulations, Arty. Sorry that the last time we spoke it wasn’t on good terms.” He offered her a hug as well.
Arty grinned at him and accepted the hug, mimicking Joey’s action of tapping him hard on the back. “No problem, Nick. Just as I know you’d never want anything to happen to Joey, please know I’m always looking out for my little sister.” She said seriously as they backed up. “I gotta call her later today. How is she?”
Nick slumped slightly, a sad look taking over. “I don’t know she hasn’t spoken to me all week since the news of the wedding broke headlines. She still thinks I knew about this whole thing in advance and she’s hurt about it. Could… could you talk with her and clear this up? Cause goddamn it sucks to be iced out like this.” He rubbed his neck nervously, looking down before looking back up at Arty with a pleading look.
“And there it is,” Joey mused with a smirk as Arty grinned back at her husband. “Nick needs us to clear his name to get back in his lady’s arms.”
“Listen -” Nick started to say in his defense.
“Josephy Anthony Bosa get your ass in here!” His father’s voice boomed from the end of the hallway.
All three stared into the house, seeing a pissed-off John Bosa staring back. “Thanks for the welcome back, dad.” Joey shot him a patronizing smile.
Cheryl appeared in the hallway, a frustrated look on her face. “Can you not be a fucking asshole for two minutes, John? Just two? We are here for an intervention, not a fight.”
“An intervention?” Joey laughed at that. “A fucking intervention?” He ran his hand through his hair. “For what? Falling in love? Being happy? You do interventions for people spiraling, not when they’re doing something positive in their goddamn life!” He spat, already losing his temper from the shit-storm the last few days.
“Positive?” John smirked, “What’s so goddamn fucking positive about marrying the first skank you had a date with in LA?”
Joey moved to charge at him when Nick quickly reached out and wrapped his arms around his brother tightly, holding him back. “Call her that again, call my wife that again! You don’t know fucking shit about her or even me these days! We’ve been together for almost a year. Tell me, how long after dating mom did you knock her up with me without marrying her until I was 6, dad? Huh?”
“Don’t bring up shit you don’t understand Joey.” His dad dismissed. “Your mom and I both had money. Who is to say that she isn’t with you for the money?”
“Well maybe if you were more present in my life outside of football you would have met her already and learned that her parents are billionaires!” Joey argued back.
His parents stared at him in shock, taking a moment to glance at a nervous Arty who was standing back and out of the way.
“Doesn’t change anything.” John broke out of his thoughts first. “You wanna run off and play house, not focus on your game, ice your family out, and even your friends. How can you be so goddamn selfish all the time? The first pretty girl that gives you attention and you jump like a dog, Joseph. Love doesn’t win games or Super Bowl rings.”
“You would know, right?” Joey countered. “Because you were a master at both. Being a player and a family man, right?”
John said nothing.
“Since we are having an intervention about me and how disgraceful I am for finally putting my happiness first, let’s talk about the root of my goddamn problems. You, Dad. It’s you! You’re such an expert player but you were a draft bust even before fucking your legs up. You were just as much a shit dad because as soon as mom broke it off with you for cheating so many goddamn times, you were in and out of relationships with women that squandered your money. Then you burned investors in a nightclub and a gym Uncle Eric helped you build. You’ve capitalized off of connections more than anyone else I know. Maybe it’s you who was a broke ass that latched on to mom for money and connections 'cause we all know you wouldn’t be able to do shit without her connections.” Joey ranted, still being held firmly by Nick who was frowning heavily at the situation.
“You are a no-good, disrespectful fucking prick, Joseph. You’re so ungrateful for everything we have sacrificed for you. Your mother and I didn’t work out -”
“Because you are a quitter who didn’t want to try. You quit on our family and only came around when it was convenient. That’s the truth. If it wasn’t football, you weren’t interested. It’s always been on your terms. Funny that when you were selfish and put yourself first every single time, we were collateral. Your wife and kids! Yet, I meet the love of my life and we marry and suddenly it’s the worst thing in the world.” He paused to look at his mom and dad. “Newsflash: I love my wife. I love Artemis. She’s been through so much with me and I’ve never once felt like a failure when I’m with her. Even when I almost screwed our relationship up earlier on. She’s the best goddamn thing that’s happened to me and I won’t let you try to ruin that. Never.”
“So you’ll pick her over your family?” John asked in disbelief.
“I am picking to stand by my wife. Why is that considered picking her over you guys? Why do you want me to choose? If you seriously loved and cared about me like you say you do, you’d support me and my wife. I don’t see it as choosing one over another. I see it as if you’re upset and don’t want to support me - us, then there’s nothing I can do.”
Nick gently released his hold on his brother, stepping back, but keeping his hand on his brother’s shoulder.
“Well,” his dad rubbed his head, his face not impressed at all. “I guess then you know where I stand.” He walked past his sons and Artemis, not even giving her a look of acknowledgment. “Come talk to me when you’re done destroying your career.” He slammed the door shut after him.
They were all silent as they heard him fly out of the driveway in his rental.
“Joey…” His mother stepped forward. “He wasn’t supposed to react that way. I’m so sorry. It wasn’t my intention to come here and yell at you. I just wanted to talk.” She said to him gently, walking towards him and opening her arms to hug him.
He sighed loudly and accepted her hug, pressing his head into her shoulder as his shoulders started to shake.
Nick quietly approached and joined in on hugging the two as well, being sure to support his brother.
Arty stayed back, watching with tearful eyes as her husband cried in the arms of the only family that was currently supportive of him without prejudice.
She could tell his mom and brother loved him dearly. She couldn’t figure out where his dad stood with his feelings given how much of an asshole he was just now to Joey and how she had heard him on the phone prior, as well as what Joey had shared about him. He was toxic – she knew that for sure. And he seemed the same manipulative and dismissive tactics her mother used. It was painfully familiar to hear those words thrown at her husband.
She wanted to intervene, but she knew Joey needed to let it out. He needed to stand up in that moment for himself, not just her. She knew he needed to feel like he reclaimed authority over himself once more, something his dad often tried to take from him and his brother.
That was so obvious for anyone unlucky enough to encounter an angry John Bosa. He was demeaning and cruel. Looking for weak points and doing his best to capitalize on them in that moment.
She was certain now, after meeting him, that she’d be ready for his antics next time.
There was no way in hell she was going to let John wreck his son’s marriage to her.
It would be a cold day in hell before that happened.
—--------
"So, you're the woman my son has been dating and is now married to?" Cheryl asked with an indiscernible tone. "While this isn't an ideal situation," she sighed and rubbed her temples, the glass of wine in front of her half-drank, "I'm glad to know Joey has been happy and not alone."
Both women were sitting on the patio chairs outside. Nick and Joey were speaking privately downstairs.
Cheryl was friendly to her, albeit reserved. They made polite chit-chat as Arty got them something to drink.
As soon as they settled outside, Arty knew Cheryl wanted to talk. Woman to woman.
“I am,” Arty confirmed. “I know this situation isn’t ideal… I don’t think Joey and I ever imagined a year ago that we’d be here today, but we are.” She took a sip of her wine.
Cheryl stayed quiet, letting her have the chance to finish speaking.
“It was never about hurting anyone by keeping it a secret. Neither of us asked the other to do so with our families. We were in a bubble of just the two of us for so long. Nick knew that we were seeing each other, but didn’t know the full extent. My sister, Athena, knew just as much as he did. Before we knew it, time had passed. We took a trip to Greece to see my maternal grandparents. I had no idea Joey was going to propose to me.” She stared out towards the oceanfront view they had. “And again, we ended up just not finding the right time to announce it to people. Except for our siblings, no one knew about us. So, introducing your partner who then becomes your fiance became intimidating. So again, it was put off.”
Arty was quiet once more. “We never did it intending to hurt anyone. I know the two of us, Joey and I, we both have personal circumstances surrounding family relationships. What happened with his dad this evening... I dealt with that with my mom. So, again, we leaned into each other and our habits of keeping things to ourselves.”
“Do you regret it?” Cheryl asked.
“Marrying him? No never.” Arty said firmly.
“No, not that, I mean, do you regret not sharing that you guys were dating and meeting each other’s families?” Cheryl sipped her wine, studying Arty’s expression.
“I don’t regret it,” Arty said. “Because living with regret and dwelling on what could have been won’t fix the situation at hand we currently have. I am sorry that it caused hurt for people. That was never our intention, but to regret how we got engaged and then married would be a lie. I like to believe things happen for a reason. Where we are now is where we are. We make do with the situation at hand.” Arty mused.
Cheryl nodded at that, taking in what Arty was saying. “I can respect that. Joey… he’s always been the child I worried the most about because of his heart. He wears it more openly. Even with how tall, strong, and serious he looks at times, you know like I do that he’s a gentle-hearted man most of the time. He loves wholeheartedly too. I was worried when I found out about all of this. Joey has gone through phases of being open with his emotions, then bottling them and hiding them away. At times it has made it hard to sit back and wait for him to express himself because he lets his self-doubts cloud him and drag him under.”
Arty was thinking of quite a few occasions where she had witnessed that first-hand. “I noticed that quite a few times too. He’s gotten better though, on leaning on me for support instead of hiding it away. We almost broke up before we even became official because he was afraid of facing what he was feeling. We’ve moved passed that now and he’s doing much better - at least with me.”
“I’m glad,” Cheryl said. “I think a lot of his reservation in sharing with me is that I’m his mom.. And maybe there’s an aspect of him wanting to be independent and not rely on me so much as an adult. I respect that. It’s how our mother-son relationship is. I’m glad that with you as his wife, he has felt comfortable in sharing with you and leaning on you for support.”
She sighed before continuing, “This was supposed to be a moment where we could get answers and talk. I regret inviting John along and giving him any benefit of the doubt that he could respectfully handle this without going straight into fighting with Joey. He still can’t be the adult in the room in any situation where he’s not in control.” She rolled her eyes at that. “I will always do my best to support my sons. Joey, he’s my firstborn, and just like with his brother, we share a unique bond that you’ll also someday feel when or if you have children. And while I am a little disappointed and hurt he didn’t feel like he could trust me enough to let me meet you sooner, I do trust his judgment and I am glad we can now get to know one another.” Cheryl smiled at her.
Arty smiled back, feeling relief seep over her at Cheryl’s willingness to build a relationship with her. “Thank you so much. Please know, Cheryl, that I would never do a thing to hurt Joey. Ever. I love him so much and I plan to for the rest of my life.”
Cheryl nodded at that, smiling once more at her. “A lifetime is a long time, but I believe that Joey’s found the one. Nick had mentioned to me how happy and relaxed Joey had been from the conversations they had. I noticed that too before all of this came to light. Like I said, I trust his judgment. He’s not the type to make rash decisions without feeling confident and strongly that it’ll work out. So,” Cheryl lifted her glass. “Welcome to the Bosa-Kumerow family. I’m so sorry our first meeting was us watching my ex-husband be an asshole. Just know that there will likely be more arguments to come. Lots of hotheads on both sides of the family. Just hold your own and don’t let anyone scare you off!”
“Welcome to the family!” Cheryl toasted to Arty.
They laughed and clanked glasses together, both taking a big drink of their wine.
“Glad to know you’re getting my wife wine drunk, mom.” Joey joked from the doorway.
Both turned and smiled at the man as he walked on out. “Well, I wanted her to feel more welcomed. I brought some wine if you want some, Joey.” His mom offered him.
“Nah, I’m good right now.” He took a seat next to Arty and leaned over to peck her cheek, making her giggle with his beard tickled her cheek. “Came out to join you guys. Nick’s on the phone, but should be out soon. I had to help him with a situation.”
“Is he ok?” Chery asked with concern, “I know he had some issue going on with how stressed he’s been.”
“Yeah, just a girl he was seeing was mad at him because he’s a dumbass. So I was helping him come up with an apology to get back on her good side.”
“Nick’s seeing someone?” Cheryl asked. “He didn’t say anything to me about it and he tells me everything.”
Joey turned towards a confused Arty, “It’s true. He’s a huge mama’s boy. Always been and always will be.”
“Joey.” Cheryl chided, but couldn’t help the grin that grew on her face.
“He is. It’s no secret. But yeah, that’s for him to share. I’m not in the mood for dealing with his whining if I share anymore.”
Cheryl rolled her eyes. “Fine, fine. I’ll get him to tell me later. Now,” She turned towards them. “Tell me where you went for your honeymoon.”
Arty started to share the details of what Joey and she arranged at last-minute notice. Joey stayed quiet mostly through it, just interjecting a few times to correct or confirm something. He was too busy staring at his wife as she excitedly pulled her phone out to show Cheryl the beautiful scenery she captured on her phone.
Joey loved how expressive she could be at times. She was silly and loved to have fun. She was more sociable than him, but could also be cool, calm, and collected when need be. She was entrancing to him and he knew others felt that way around her too. Artemis Bosa made him feel loved and she loved to show it. At that moment, he truly believed he was the luckiest man on Earth by getting to marry her. He couldn’t imagine his life now without her.
He was thankful he chose that day to slide in her DMs. Who could believe online gaming and social media would lead him to meet the love of his life?

Tesoro mio, La mia vita
Alessia Russo x Bosa!reader
Warnings: none just Fluff,it’s really short just a little thing, some really bad Italian cause it was taken from Google, but Surprise here’s a short one for Valentine’s Day
You were walking into London Colony when you were suddenly stopped by Mark, Arsenals media director “Hey Y/n, how have you been.” You smiled at the camera “all good Mark how are you.” Mark smiled zooming in on your face slightly before speaking “I’m good thanks, just wondering what’s your phone screen.” You laughed lightly pulling your hands phone out of your back pocket before looking down at the photo and smiling. It was no secret you and Alessia Russo were dating, she’s the reason you played for Arsenal but what fans didn’t know was how long your relationship had actually been going on for. Turning your phone you should the photo “it’s a picture of my two brothers Nick and Joey, Tesoro Mio Alessia and both her brothers Luca and Gio.” You paused allowing Mark to zoom in before continuing on “it was taken at the NFC Championship game in 2019, which was Nicks first season in the NFL and all my family where there as well as Alessia’s as we all brought our partners and their family so it was a big day but I love my brothers, and when I’m here Gio and Luca are like my brothers and of course I love Alessia so yeah that’s my screensaver hasn’t changed since 2019 and it probably won’t anytime soon.” Mark laughed thanking you as you walked away with a red face.
It was a quite night both you and Alessia where cuddled up on your couch in St Albans when you both got a notification from the media team saying their latest video was out, you both normally ignored them but you wanted to see Alessia’s reaction to you telling the world how long you had been together so you turned it on. “Oh I love these, it’s such a cute trend.” You laughed as Alessia buried her head further into your chest as you ran your fingers through her blond hair. You smiled as you watched yourself come up on the screen and felt Alessia tense slightly “oh my god, Sole.” You blushed as she looked up at you “I can’t believe you still have that as your Lock Screen.” You mumbled kissing her head “of course I do it’s my favourite photo.” Alessia stretched up to kiss you before turning back to the Tv listening to you explain the meaning behind it before it cut to her walking into the training ground.
“Morning Alessia, how are you.” Alessia beamed happily at the older man “hi Mark all good thanks and you.” Mark smiled at the blonde “I’m good, just wondering what’s your screen saver.” Alessia looked at her phone “it’s a photo of Ella and El mio sole Y/n at the Euros in 2022, Ella pulled her over the barrier with the help of my brothers and then proceeded to jump on Y/ns back and then this photo is of me and Y/n after winning the NCAA I asked her to be my girlfriend shortly after and the rest is history.” Mark smiled “so the photos mean a lot to you.” Alessia smiled nodding “definitely both her and Ella mean a lot to me and that moment is something I just love looking back on.” You turned looking down at the blonde “you’re going to make me cry.” Alessia sat up grabbing your face laughing “naw don’t cry, I love you and I love those moments and memories with you.” You leaned your head against hers “I love every moment with you.” Alessia pecked your lips “Te amo, el mio sole.” You pulled her forward locking your lips together as you kissed her passionately “Ti amo, La Mia vita.”

Sliding in the DMs Part XVIII
18+ content ahead
“You just can’t wait, can you?” Joey said lowly as Arty tugged at his swimming trunks while they waded in the water. “Always trying to put your hands down my pants.” He teased her as she bit her lip in response.
“How can I not? I mean, look who I’m married to. He’s kind of a hunk if you must know.” She said back with a Cheshire smile.
“Oh, is he? Sounds like a catch you got there.” Joey scoffed playfully.
“Oh absolutely. He’s handsome, funny, kind, and he’s got a big dick.” She whispered the last part as she reached up to wrap her arms around him for a kiss.
Joey obliged her and used his arm to support her back as he returned the kiss. He pulled back after a moment and chuckled at her pouting expression. “You’re incorrigible.”
They were relaxing now in their pool that overlooked the waterway behind Joey’s house.
After a few hours at the sandbar, Nick drove them back to Joey’s private dock. As much as Arty loved her sister and would typically invite her to stay longer to hang out - tonight wasn’t that night. All she wanted as she waved goodbye to her sister in the doorway was to find Joey and finish what she had started on the boat.
In the present, she was leaning against the ledge of the pool as Joey’s hands slipped down the front of her bikini bottoms - his fingers wasting no time at all in finding her clit.
Arty tilted her head back with a moan as Joey got to work on making her cum. It was blissful- the sensation of the cold pool water with the warmth of the sun and the heat in her core. She could feel Joey’s eyes on her face, hungrily watching her face twist in pleasure as his skilled fingers teased her to release.
“You ready to cum?” Joey said before he nipped playfully at her right ear. He was breathing heavily from his own arousal.
Arty nodded and opened her eyes to stare up into his mismatched ones. She bit her lip before answering, “Yes, please, please.”
“Ok.” He chuckled as he pumped his two fingers harder into her as he watched her face for signs of her release.
It didn’t take her long to get there. As soon as Joey curled his fingers and hit her g-spot, she was spiraling in pleasure at the sensation. It was blissful - euphoric as she felt her body hum with nerves. It was electrifying.
Within moments Arty was coming back down to earth, the euphoric bliss making her lax in Joey’s arms. She pressed her face into his chest, her cheeks warm against the coolness of his skin.
Joey was pleased with his work as he supported Arty against his chest. His other arm slipped from her bikini bottoms and wrapped around her waist as he pressed a kiss to her temple, breathing in her scent of faded shampoo, sea salt, and sweat. She was beautiful to him - especially when she was most vulnerable. He could spend the rest of his life holding her tightly and would never complain.
“Let’s go inside,” Joey said after a few moments of quiet. He had plans for both of them.
Arty nodded and let Joey walk her out of the shallow part of the pool they were in. Whatever he was planning, she knew she wasn’t going to be walking smoothly tomorrow. Good thing she had no plans.
—--------------------------
“I’m going to get a quick shower to wash the sand and ocean off. You coming?” Joey asked as he made his way toward the bathroom.
Arty bit her lip and stared back towards the dresser for a minute where she had her surprise for Joey. “Sure, just give me a quick minute and I’ll be in.”
Joey nodded and went to start the shower. “Don’t take too long.”
“I won’t,” Arty called back as she quietly opened her top drawer and slid out her newest toys to add to her collection. With a wicked grin, she quickly fastened the fuzzy pink handcuffs on both sides of the headboard, ensuring they were secured among the bars. She was thankful Joey hadn’t ordered a new bed set as he was planning, otherwise, her plan would have been much more difficult.
After throwing a random blanket and a sweatshirt on both ends of the headboard to hide the cuffs, she quickly made her to into the restroom to join her husband.
Joey was already under the shower head, his head tilted back as the water ran through his hair and down his broad back. He opened his eyes and smirked at her, “Thought you got lost.”
“No,” Arty said innocently, “I was just looking to see if I still had my favorite silk pajamas. I was clearing out my closet last week and worried I donated those too.”
“Ah.” That was all Joey said, thankfully believing her fib.
Arty’s body hummed with nerves and anticipation as she thought about what was to happen next after their shower. As she let Joey lather her up, she couldn’t help but envision him naked and handcuffed to the bed as she rode him hard. He had no idea what was about to happen and she was excited.
Joey pressed himself against her ass, his cock hard and ready as it rubbed against her. He gathered her wet hair and pushed it over her right shoulder, gaining access to the back of her neck where he pressed kisses onto her skin. His lips danced down the side and to her left shoulder where he gently sucked a mark onto her skin, his hands gripped firmly on her hips as he grinded against her ass.
Arty whined and moved away gently and turned to press her front against him. “Bed?” She hummed as she pressed kisses against his pecs and nipped one of his nipples playfully.
Joey said nothing and instead cupped her face with both hands before he pressed his lips hungrily to hers, just as eager to fuck.
They carefully got out of the shower and dried quickly before making it to their bedroom.
Arty could barely remember what happened next because all she was focused on was keeping Joey as distracted as possible.
As she rode his face avidly with her back arched and her hands against the headboard, she tried to keep her mind clear on her objective.
Arty made sure to be as loud as possible so Joey wouldn’t hear her reaching for the handcuffs. She hadn’t thought this through very well in her planning and her goal was to at least get one arm cuffed.
She leaned slightly to the right for the handcuff that was covered by the throw blanket, with her other hand, she brought Joey’s hand up to her right breast with a wordless prompt.
Joey twisted her nipple and fondled her chest as pulled the handcuffs forward barely missing his wrist.
Frustrated, Arty grunted and quickly pulled his right hand towards the cuff. She snapped it shut and released his wrist just as Joey stopped beneath her.
Joey gently shoved her backyard down his chest and looked up at his right wrist handcuffed to the headboard. “Artemis Renee Bosa… what the fuck is this?” He scowled at her angrily, waiting for a reply.
“Hmm??” Arty took the moment to move off him and to his side. “Oh, that appears to be a handcuff, babe.”
“And why the fuck did you handcuff me to the goddamn headboard?” His face was twisted in irritation, his beard glistened with her juices. “What the fuck are you planning?” He turned and used his left arm, free of any cuff, to yank the blanket off the other post and saw another set of fuzzy pink handcuffs hanging. “You are such a fucking sneak.”
“I am.” She grinned proudly in return, “My plan, dear husband, was to cuff you and ride you to town.” She wiggled her eyebrows playfully and flung a leg over his hip. “Italian stallion, I’m going to ride you like a cowgirl!”
Joey just gave her a deadpan expression in return. “That was corny.”
“Shut up,” Arty covered his mouth and glared, “I’m trying to seduce you.”
Joey licked her hand, causing her to yank it away with a grossed-out expression from the feeling on her palm. “I’m already rock hard, babe. Now take this goddamn cuff off me.” He fiddled with his left hand to free his right one.
Arty just watched him for a few minutes with an amused look before she swatted his hand away. “Nope. It’s my turn to be in charge.” With a wink, she slid down his lap and nestled herself between his legs. “Enjoy the ride.” Arty’s grin was devilish as she lowered her mouth to his hardened cock.
Joey groaned and tossed his head back at the feeling of her mouth encompassing his cock. It was heavenly. He wanted so badly to reach down and grip her head. At the odd angle he was in, with one arm cuffed and the other gripping the blanket underneath, he couldn’t.
Arty bobbed her head vigorously as she peaked up on occasion to take in his blissful expression. With one particular bob, she took him as deep as she could down her throat and swallowed.
“FUCK.” Joey yelled out and lifted his head to stare with hooded eyes at the sight of his wife deep-throating him. “Fuck,” He moaned, “Artemis..”
Arty felt a twinge go straight to her core as she released him and hummed in satisfaction at the sight of his wet cock. “You like that, baby?”
“Yeah,” Joey answered quietly as his chest heaved in pace with his shallow breathing. “Artemis, let me go.” He said lowly.
“Hmm?” She looked at him with curious eyes. “Why?”
“So I can fuck you, that’s why.” He said with irritation while he flexed his right forearm with a yank to the cuffs. “Now.”
“Nope. You’ll have to wait until I’m done.” Arty said nonchalantly.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” He fussed some more with the cuff.
“Yep.” She popped the ‘p’ sound and went back to straddling him once more. “Now, be a good boy, and let me make you feel good.” She adjusted herself over his cock to mount it.
Joey sighed in frustration and tossed his head back. “Fucking hell woman.”
“Yeah, yeah. Shut it.” She said as she sunk down on him with a moan.
All that could be heard for a few moments was the deep breathing of the two as Arty adjusted to Joey inside her. It didn’t matter how often they had sex.
She started to rock her hips back and forth, being sure to grind down on him with each rocking motion.
Joey was a panting mess beneath her with every rocking motion she made. The clenching sensation each time she sunk down to his hilt was euphoric for him as he clenched his eyes shut.
“Hmmm look at me,” Arty called to him, her eyes drinking in the sight of him. “Joey, baby, open your eyes for me.”
Joey opened them and stared up at his wife as she started to bounce on him roughly. “Fuck!”
“Y-you like that?” Arty moaned as she gripped her bouncing breasts in her hands. “Nice and tight for you, baby?”
“Fuck yeah.” Joey groaned as his eyes rolled back.
Arty leaned down and pressed her lips to Joey’s. Their tongues danced together as Arty continued to ride Joey at a slower pace, her thrusts sharp with each movement of her hips on top of his.
Joey’s hand gripped her right ass cheek tight enough to leave marks as he tried to rock her faster on his lap, only for her to pull back from his lips.
“Hm…” Arty said contemplatively, her chest heaving as she breathlessly laughed. “I don’t recall you being allowed to do that?”
“Allowed to do what?” Joey asked with furrowed brows.
“Control the tempo. That’s my decision tonight.” Arty said with a disappointed look. “You aren’t in charge tonight, baby, I am.”
Joey glared at her and abruptly thrust his hips upward, causing her to yelp and almost fall off his lap.
“You are a goddamn brat, Joseph!” She snapped at him.
“Yeah, you’re one to fucking talk. At the rate you’re going, my dick will fall off before we’re done.” He said rudely.
“You weren’t complaining a minute ago when I had you moaning beneath me.”
She said with such a cocky energy that Joey wanted nothing more than to flip her over and pound that brattiness right out of her. “When I get free out of this, you’re getting punished. I swear on it.” He threatened.
“I swear on it.” Arty mocked his voice. “Cry about it.”
“Artemis!” Joey snapped at her.
“Joseph!” Arty mocked once more, faking his outrage.
“That’s it.” Joey yanked once more at the flimsy cuffs, straining his muscles as he sat up, not caring at all about Arty toppling off him and onto the mattress. “Fucking holy shit. I swear to God!”
Arty watched in alarm as the cuffs started to strain against the headboard, the chain between the cuffs pulled taut. She knew she was in for it if he got free so she quickly got off the bed. Her legs were trembling from her arousal as she backed up from the bed.
With a loud snap, Joey had managed to snap the chain holding the two cuffs together, thus freeing himself from the headboard.
‘Should have not bought cheap ones from Amazon with 3.9 stars!’ Arty panicked internally as she saw Joey swing his feet over the bed to stand, his eye honed in on her with a dark expression to boot.
She took off out of the room and down the hallway with a nervous giggle. Behind her she could hear Joey yelling out, “Artemis Renee Bosa, get the fuck back here now,” and the pounding of his bare feet followed after her.
Arty almost wiped out on the stairs as she cleared them and ran for the living room.
Joey whipped around the corner in alarming speed, inches from her as she ducked just in time to avoid him grabbing her arm.
Artemis cut into the kitchen, doing her best to put the kitchen counter between the two of them. Her chest was heaving with adrenaline as she watched him like a prey hiding from its predator.
Joey stalked into the kitchen moments later, his nostrils flared and his eyebrows scrunched low in anger. He was pissed off.
Arty attempted to fake him out and go in a different direction, but Joey was ready for her. She realized too late as his arms wrapped around her and he all but sacked her ass into the opposite counter.
She yelped as she collided with the counter, surprisingly not as hard as she thought she would. Joey must have repositioned their weight as his hand was leaning on the counter behind her with his arm taking on most of their weight support.
She had never been sacked before. This was a first and with her face pressed against her husband’s damp chest, she knew she was in for it now.
This was just the start.
“Now,” Joey breathed out. “No more of your fucking games tonight. Looks like I’m in charge now.” He mocked her with a wicked glint in his eyes. “Can’t run now, huh, babe?”
Arty shot him an innocent grin. “It was just a little fun, baby.”
He laughed mirthlessly. “You really thought you were going to get away with cuffing my ass to the bed in secret? You thought that cheap ass set of cuffs was going to work on me?”
“Well, I didn’t think you’d Hulk out and snap them like they were nothing!” Arty said back to him, matching his attitude.
“You know what?” He suddenly lifted her around his waist, gripping her ass to keep her hoisted as he walked her toward the island in the center. “I’m fucking the brattiness out of you tonight.”
Arty realized the cold sensation on her back was the broken cuff still attached to his right wrist. “Y-you wanna get that off first?” Arty asked as she attempted to keep her legs closed.
“Nope. It can wait.” Joey yanks her legs open and slides himself right into her heat with no warning.
Arty moaned out loudly as she felt Joey grip her thighs to push them back as he pounded deeply into her.
His pace was unforgiving as he pounded her roughly, each thrust going deep into her. His expression was tense as he focused on the area where they were joined. He glanced up at Arty’s face, taking in her blissed-out face.
Her hand shook as it reached down to make contact with her swollen nub. She whined as she felt Joey increase the speed of his thrusts.
“Fuck, yes, yes, please!” She pleaded loudly. “Give it to me!”
“You want it?” Joey chuckled breathlessly. “How bad?”
“Bad. So goddamn bad.” Arty hiccuped in return.
“I should make you beg for it, Artemis. You weren’t a good girl. Why should I let you cum?” Joey taunted.
“Joey!” She whined.
Joey reached down and shoved her hands away as he rubbed her swollen clit. His thrusts were getting sloppy and he could feel the knot in his groin building. He was about to cum soon. He needed to get her there first.
It didn’t take long as Arty, within moments, had tensed and bowed her back upwards as her orgasm tore through her body.
Joey’s hand fell away as he leaned forward to catch his balance at the sensation. Arty’s velvety walls were squeezing away at his cock, causing his orgasm.
Joey felt his legs shake as he felt himself still cumming in Arty, who was panting tiredly beneath him with hooded eyes.
After a minute or two of silence in the kitchen, the only sounds being their heavy breathing, Joey stood up with shaky legs and laughed. “We’re fucking insane.”
Arty laughed at that. “We are,” she agreed, “but it’s us. What did you expect when you married me?” She teased him.
“Well, I wasn’t expecting handcuffs being brought out against me,” Joey smirked. “We still got that other set. Don’t test me.”
“Ay, ay, captain.” Arty saluted him and she got down slowly from the counter, “I can’t feel my legs,” She pouted. “Can you carry me?”
Joey pretended to think about it and then started walking towards the living room. “Not my problem.”
“Joey!” Arty yelled after him in outrage. “You did this to me!”
“And you did this to me!” Joey’s arm appeared in the doorway, the cuff with the broken chain still attached to his right wrist. “See you upstairs!”
“That asshole,” Arty grumbled, “I’ll get his ass back for this.”
What Arty didn’t know was that Joey was right outside the kitchen, leaning against the wall in the hallway, a smug grin on his face as he heard her bitching about him.
He wouldn’t change any of this for the whole world. No matter how dysfunctional they could be at times. Arty was it for him.

Sliding in the DMs Part XVII
Life had settled down a bit for Arty and Joey over the course of a few weeks. Occasional comments were still made in passing by people they encountered - some they knew and some complete strangers. It was odd at first but both quickly learned to ignore it and go about their day.
Arty had begged Joey to take her out boating the past week and today they finally would - with some unexpected guests. When Joey mentioned in passing to Nick that he was taking his boat out, Nick invited himself and Athena along - using the excuse that it had been a while since they got to hang out together.
Arty was excited over the prospect of seeing her sister and hanging out with her.
‘As if they weren’t just together yesterday.’ Joey thought sarcastically.
When Nick showed up with his shit-eating smirk directed at him, Joey knew what kind of day it was going to be.
Arty and Nick would definitely talk shit at each other and also at him. If that wasn’t bad enough, he really didn’t want to see his brother groping his sister-in-law so unabashedly with no sense of embarrassment whatsoever. Sometimes Joey felt like the adult in the room when it came to his wife and his brother. Thank God Athena seemed sane and mellow. Another clown on the boat would have likely made him jump overboard.
“Alright,” Joey said, “everyone got their stuff? I’m not about to drive out and come back if something is left behind.”
“All good,” Arty called from next to her sister.
Joey turned the boat on and coasted from his private dock.
Arty sat up front with him and enjoyed the ocean breeze on her face. It was a beautiful day to go out boating, especially after the recent rainstorms that moved through southern Florida. It was nothing new to Arty as she spent her whole life until the age of 22 living in Miami.
Once the boat was close enough to the sandbar, Joey cut the engine and turned towards his wife with a smile. “I love you,” He said as he leaned in to press a kiss to her lips, “You’re so fucking beautiful.” He eyed her bikini top and shorts combo, his eyes lingering on the sky-blue bikini she was wearing.
“You’re not so bad yourself, handsome.” She leaned up slightly to kiss him once more.
Joey turned his head to see Nick in the back of the boat with Athena perched on his lap, his arms easily wrapped around her frame as she played with his curls.
“I hope you’re not going to try anything funny, Nick. I didn’t agree to a live show like last time.” Joey teased with a smirk.
Nick raised one arm up and gave him the bird and a dirty look before he turned back to Athena who had her head resting on his shoulder. “Says the dude who had sex with his wife on a boat in Greece,” at Joey’s shocked look, Nick continued with a smirk, “You dirty dog.”
“How do you know about that?” Arty asked with a slight blush on her face, “Who told you?”
Athena didn’t make eye contact with Arty who looked over to her, “I have my ways,” Nick said mysteriously.
“Would that source be my sister?” Arty looked pointedly at Athena.
“I was drunk!” Athena protested back, her face embarrassed that her drunk gossip with Nick was leaked, “I didn’t know he’d bring that up!”
“Nick has a big mouth. Just because he doesn’t talk a lot in front of others doesn’t mean he doesn’t talk shit at all - if anything he’s one of the biggest shit-talkers behind closed doors. Isn’t that right, Nicky?”
“Says the man that got in a fight with a bunch of asshole Eagles fans. How did that work out for you, Joey?” Nick retorted.
“Ok - ok!” Athena stood up off Nick’s lap. “We are not doing this. We are here to have a good time and hangout. You,” she pointed at a frowning Nick, “shut up and stop instigating.”
“What about him?” Nick complained, “He started it!”
“And he’s going to shut up too,” Arty interjected, “so how about both of you shut up?”
Joey grunted at her and frowned.
Nick said nothing else and pouted at Athena, “Come sit back down with me.”
Athena giggled at his pleading expression and quickly sat back down on his lap.
Joey made a coughing/gag sound and Arty turned quickly to check on him, “You ok?”
“Yeah, just choked down some vomit at him making that face,” Joey joked.
Nick went to retort but Arty was one step ahead of him as she pulled Joey over to the cooler to get a drink.
“Dear God,” Athena mumbled at the bickering between her boyfriend and his brother.
“Hmm?” Nick hummed in response.
“Nothing,” Athena sighed, “Just enjoying the breeze.
Hopefully, the rest of the day would be relaxing with much less bickering.
—--------------
Joey and Arty relaxed on the bow of the boat as Nick and Athena were walking on the shallow part of the sandbar further inward.
Nick had spotted some friends and coaxed Athena towards them for introductions.
Joey wasn’t complaining as he finally got the privacy he so desperately wanted with his wife. He wasn’t interested in greeting anyone at the sandbar and just wanted to relax with Arty next to him.
“Thanks for taking me out here with you,” Arty said quietly from her spot next to him.
“Anytime,” Joey said happily. “I’m so glad we get to spend this time together.”
Arty propped herself up and smiled at him. “It’s a beautiful day today to be out here. Are you going to get in the water and walk around?”
“Later. I just want to relax for a bit. I’m still exhausted from my training session yesterday with my trainer. Today’s all about relaxation and recovery for me.”
They relaxed for a while like that, not saying anything to each other and enjoying the breeze passing over them. It was heaven.
Further inwards of the sandbar, Nick stood speaking with some former high school classmates, his arm comfortably draped over Athena as he held her close to him. He was immersed in conversation about the upcoming start to the season as Athena looked around at the number of people at the sandbar.
It was only going to get busier as they day dragged on. She glanced back towards Joey and Arty’s boat, wishing she was back on the boat and away from wondering eyes.
Several young women were eyeing them up from nearby. Athena felt exposed under their scrutiny as she leaned more into Nick’s side, hoping to make herself smaller and to get the attention off her, but when she looked around, she noticed that wasn’t working well.
Nick’s friend laughed and turned towards his other friend to say something. Nick took that moment to turn towards Athena and press a kiss to her cheek and then lowly asked her, “Are you ok? You seem tense.”
Athena shook her head and looked up into his worried eyes. “I just am uncomfortable with the amount of people staring. That’s all.”
Nick glanced around and noticed the eyes on them. A few ladies nearby actually grinned his way and waved eagerly at him, but Nick did not return the gesture. He wasn’t interested in entertaining them in any way.
Nick schooled his face to show how unimpressed he was with them before he turned back to Athena and smiled gently. “Don’t worry about them. I’m not here to entertain them. Only you.” He then pressed a kiss to her lips as he ignored the wolf whistles of his friends at his public display of affection.
He wanted to send a message that he was taken and so was Athena. He wasn’t the only one getting admiring looks from the opposite sex.
—--------
Joey and Arty had moved back towards the cockpit of the boat, now shaded by the hardtop above them.
Arty pressed kisses to his cheek as she sat down next to him.
Joey let her as he returned her kisses and pulled her onto his lap. He didn’t even care if anyone saw them making out on the boat. He genuinely did not give a fuck. All he could think about was his beautiful wife in his arms.
Arty pressed another kiss to his lips and pulled back to grin at him, “Quite the salute you're giving me, captain.” She glanced down between them at his growing bulge, “Too bad we don’t have enough privacy for that.” She pouted at him, “If there weren’t so many people around, we could make this work.”
“I know,” Joey sighed, “Fuck me… Why did we come out here again today?”
“To enjoy a beautiful day at the sandbar,” Arty responded nonchalantly. “And to spend some time alone.”
“We could have done that at home,” Joey sighed loudly.
“But I love being on boats with you.” Arty pouted. “Maybe if we got out into the water it’ll help with your boner.”
“Great idea. Maybe the cold water will freeze my dick off while we’re at it.” Joey said sarcastically.
“It’s 91 degrees out today, Joseph. And it’s the middle of July. You know that water isn’t freezing.” Arty laughed at his dramatics. “Come on! Just for a bit, please?” She begged with a dramatic pout.
“Hmm…” Joey pretended to think, “Fine… but only for a little bit.. And only if you wear that new lingerie set for me that you bought last week.” He smirked.
Arty raised her eyebrow in confusion at his request, “How did you know I bought myself lingerie?”
“You left it on the bed for the whole day and I recognized the boutique you bought from before. I snuck a peak.” Joey shrugged.
“Hmm…” It was Arty’s turn to pretend contemplating his request. “I guess we can make that happen… only if you come to play in the water with me on the sandbar, though. Not just stand around looking like a grouch.”
“Deal.” Joey said as he gently moved her off his lap to stand up, “The sooner we get in the water, the sooner we can get back home…” He put his sunglasses and cap on, “Then, your ass is mine.” He smirked at her.
“Oh? You just wait. I’ll be having you begging.” Arty promised with a cocky grin.
“Really?” Joey approached her.
“Absolutely. Just you wait. I got something planned for you, baby boy.” Arty stood up and hip-checked him before heading down the ladder and wading into the water towards the sandbar.
“Are you coming?” She called up to Joey as he watched her.
“Yeah, yeah.” He started down the ladder, his mind thinking about all the things he was going to due to her as soon as they got into their house later. He was intrigued about what Arty had planned, but he could wait.
‘Could Arty?’ Joey thought with amusement as he approached his waiting wife.

Imagine if you and Joey were doing the deed and you ask him to choke you and he gets all like 😳😳😳 but then he does it and it just awakens something in him.
Ugh daddy 😩😩😩
Safeword - Joey Bosa
SMUT AHEAD - 18+ content
She wasn't sure at what point it happened, but Joey went from pounding her into the mattress to halting balls deep and just staring in shock at her. It was almost comical if it wasn't for the fact that his lower body at all of his weight pushing into her, her cervix was now aching at the pressure, and she was still horny as fuck.
"What did you say?" He asked hoarsely. His hair was dangling in damp strands down his face; still damp from the shower and now the sweat from their fucking. He was holding himself braced above her as she stared back in her own state of shock.
"Umm.. Go harder?" She said meekly.
"No, no not that. After that?" His eyes were serious and he had no expression now.
"Oh god.." She immediately covered her face in embarrassment.
"I'm not going to move until you tell me." He said with a smirk now.
"I can't."
"You can.. I think I heard you say something like, "Yes, go harder! Choke me, daddy!" He teased in a terrible impression of her voice.
She said nothing and just whined in embarrassment. "I'm sorry.."
"Don't apologize! I mean, I've never done that before.. but I mean.." He trailed off.
She lowered her hands and stared back at him in surprise at what appeared to be excitement at the prospect. "You would?"
"Yeah, if you are comfortable and want me to."
She stared back at him for a moment and he raised his eyebrow, slowly starting to rock his hips a bit. She squirmed at the jolt that shot up through her core. She pressed at his torso to sit upwards and then reached for his right arm.
He watched intently as she trailed it up her waist, through the valley of her breasts, and to her mouth where she pressed a kiss to his palm. Then, she lowered it to rest at her neck.
Joey watched with a bated breath as she made a squeezing motion on his hand and moaned. His eyes shot to her's as she stared back earnestly.
"Choke me, daddy." She begged quietly and Joey felt the switch in him click.
He knew for certain that neither of them were going on that planned beach day tomorrow after tonight's round. They'll be in bed late into the afternoon for sure.

Sliding in the DMs Part XIV

Tumblr media
“We are so fucked when we get home,” Arty mumbled into Joey’s shoulder.
It was quiet sans for the sounds of the waves hitting the beach. The two of them were laid out next to the pool of their tiny rental, basking in the evening warmth after another round of lovemaking. Thankfully, the villa Joey rented was pretty secluded and obviously cost a fortune to rent. He didn’t care about the amount of money spent on this trip. He knew his accountant for sure would be calling him as soon as he checked his account and saw the exuberant charges.
“Artemis.. we’ll deal with it then. I honestly don’t care what others think right now.” He grumbled, reaching his arm out to pull her closer to him. “I love you.”
They lay quietly once more, mulling over the last 24 hours and their life-changing decision.
It was so surreal to Arty that she was no longer Artemis Thermopoli, but Artemis Bosa.
She gazed at the glint of her wedding band on her finger as it shined beneath her engagement ring.
A year ago, she would have never imagined being engaged and married before 30 years old. 21-year-old Arty would have cackled madly at that very thought. Yet, here she was, just shy of her 28th birthday, married to the love of her life.
Joey brought so much joy and happiness to her life - she couldn’t imagine life without him. As someone who hadn’t been active in her faith in years, she actually visited a small church on the island earlier in the morning and said a prayer, silently pleading for their relationship to always remain this strong.
She didn’t want to be like her parents, in a loveless marriage. She also knew Joey didn’t want to replicate his own parents' doomed marriage that led to divorce.
As she lay there with him, warm and safe in his arms, she truly believed at that moment that they wouldn’t follow the same path as their loved ones.
They communicated regularly and respected each other a great deal. Even in his sometimes brash and awkward delivery, Joey was loving and affectionate to her. He wasn’t afraid of being silly with her or sharing hobbies. For him, Arty brought the extroversion into his life. She was funny, lively, friendly, and the life of the party. Yet, in all of her moments of loud and fun, she was intuitive. She knew when Joey was upset or going through something. She knew when to prod or when to wait for him to share. He had never felt that kind of love and support before. They just meshed well together. He shared his fears with her and she with him.
While they both had opinions of what their wedding was going to be, Joey’s impromptu suggestion of a marriage at the magistrate somehow won out anything else.
In their rush of euphoric joy and worry of losing their nerve, they did exactly that. Joey’s long-time neighbor, an elderly woman who was super sweet and kind to him all the years he lived in Costa Mesa, agreed in shock and delight to not only watch Cassiopeia for them but also to be their witness at the courthouse. California only needed one witness for it to happen.
Arty smiled softly as she recalled the events.
—-
The officiant fumbled slightly with the officiant book in his hands. He was an older gentleman who had clearly done this hundreds of times given how quickly he had Arty and Joey fill out the necessary paperwork in a more private setting with the help of the court clerk.
Arty had on a dark blue dress that ended just slightly above her knees and was complimented by the lovely strappy heels she was wearing. She wore minimal jewelry, except for the engagement ring and her favorite earrings. She looked beautiful as she smiled nervously at an equally nervous Joey.
He smiled back, fiddling slightly with the cuff of his sleeve. He was wearing a black suit outfit, similar to the one he wore at the NFL Honors when Nick won DPOY.
Arty had teased him about it being one of his best looks. He couldn’t NOT recreate it just for her.
Melissa, his kind neighbor from Costa Mesa, smiled proudly at the two loved birds. She didn’t know the full circumstances for why the two of them went about it this way, but she knew that in the end, it didn’t matter. Joey was obviously in love deeply with his fiance and vice versa. She had only met Arty a handful of times, but she could see how much the younger woman cared for him.
The service began as the officiant cleared his throat before nodding to the two.
“Welcome. We are gathered here today to join Artemis Renee Thermopoli and Joseph Anthony Bosa in holy matrimony.” He looks up to Joey before continuing on, “Do you Joseph, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife to live together in matrimony, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?”
“I do.” Joey said with a smile as he stared into Arty’s tearful eyes.
She smiled back sweetly, reaching up to wipe her eye slightly as she gripped the bouquet in her hands.
“Do you Artemis, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?”
“I do.” Arty declared confidently.
“Joseph and Artemis have chosen rings to exchange with each other as a symbol of their unending love. As you place this ring on Aretmis’s finger, please repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever.” The officiant instructed Joey.
Joey pulled the wedding band from his pocket and gently grabbed Arty’s left hand. “Artemis,” he breathed shakily. “With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever.” He slid the ring on gently before lifting it to press a kiss to it.
Arty’s choked up slightly in tears at the gesture and grinned happily back at him.
Joey dropped her hand gently and stepped back slightly to allow the officiant to continue.
“Now, Artemis, as you place this ring on Joseph’s finger, please repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever.”
Melissa, who was holding Arty’s bag and the box with the ring set, handed Joey’s wedding band to her.
Arty nodded in thanks, exchanging the bouquet for it and then lifted Joey’s left hand to align the ring with his ring finger. “With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever.” She followed suit in lifting his hand to press a kiss against the ring on his finger.
Joey grinned back at her, his eyes teary-eyed as he made eye contact with her stunning green eyes. ‘God, I love her so much.’ He thought happily.
“By the authority vested in me by the State of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife!” The officiant announced with a smile, “You may now kiss the bride.”
Joey needed no further prompting than that as he swooped in and pressed his lips passionately to Arty’s, gently gripping her to him as her arms reached up to cup his face. He broke the kiss leaning back just enough to grin down at his blushing bride.
The courthouse staff present, as well as his neighbor Melissa, clapped for the newly weds.
The officiant shook hands with the couple, congratulating them and then assisting them in signing the license that would be processed with the state.
The rest from then on passed in a blur as Joey and Arty would soon after on a private jet to St. Barts for a week-long honeymoon.
—-
Back to the present, Joey gently nudged Arty and asked, “What are you thinking about?”
“Hmm?” She said absent-mindedly.
“I can practically hear the gears turning in your head from here. What are you thinking about?” He asked again as he shifted to stare down at her in curiosity.
“Just still in absolute disbelief that this actually happened. We’re actually married, Joey.” She looked up at him in shock. “I just… wow. It’s still so surreal.”
“Is that a good thing?” He asked, a hint of worry in his tone.
“Absolutely it is!” Arty rushed to reassure him. “I am so beyond thankful that we have each other. And maybe... Maybe by the standards of others and society, it is not a viable path that we took to get here... But I wouldn’t change that for the world” She cupped his cheek and pressed a kiss to her husband’s lips.
Joey pulled back with a lazy grin on his face. “Artemis Bosa.. what would I do without you?”
“Hmmm.. Be miserable and fighting online with people who beat your ass at COD.” She teased him while moving to sit up and stretch.
“See.. I don’t remember it being quite like that.” He protested in return, trying to fight the smile starting to spread over his face. “Sounds very revisionist, to be frank.”
“Oh? Revisionist? It’s the truth! You liked fighting with me online and couldn’t handle having your ass kicked by a woman!” Arty saw him start to protest and she pressed her finger to his lips. “Nope! It’s the truth! It doesn’t help that you also realized you were into me. So, I get it. I really do. I wanted you too.” She smiled down at him in a coy manner. “Especially when I realized what you look like.”
Joey couldn’t stop the cheesy grin from taking over, his cheeks flushing redder under the slight sunburn already there. “Yeah if I remember correctly you said you wanted to sit on my face..”
“I still do. All day and every day.” Was her blunt response to that.
Joey chuckled at that, reaching up to pull his wife into his chest once more. “I love you.”
They lay there a little longer before Joey’s hand trailed down the backside of Arty’s bikini bottoms. His hands fiddled with the strings, tugging them languidly until they came undone and dropped to the sides.
Arty’s breath hitched as she waited with anticipation for where he was going to put his hands next.
Joey’s hand pulled her bottoms down, exposing her ass to the cool breeze rolling in from the ocean nearby. Her skin was smooth, as his fingers teased shivers and goosebumps out of her. He caressed her ass a few times, pretending to dip low enough towards between her legs but then moving away moments later.
His hand danced up her bare lower back, making its way to the middle of her back where he undid the strings of her bikini top, similar to what he did to her bikini bottoms. Those too dropped away, exposing the tanned lines underneath.
“Hmmmm…” Arty hummed dreamily, pushing to sit up so she could pull away her untied swimsuit set.
Dropping it to the side without looking where it landed, she kept her eyes glued on Joey, a Cheshire grin on her face as she bit her lip and sat up. She stretched her arms high, knowing her chest would catch Joey’s eyes as he watched like a predator hunting its prey.
She stood up suddenly and reached her hand out for Joey, coaxing him silently to get up and follow her.
He did so, eagerly getting up and gripping her hand tightly as she guided them to the other side of the beach house rental, a spot where an outdoor jacuzzi was located. Arty fussed with the temperature controls a few times before getting it right.
“I’ve been thinking about what I wanted as a wedding gift since last night.” She said thoughtfully, eyeing up Joey’s bulge in his swim trunks. “And I’ve decided that I want to suck your dick.”
Joey’s eyes got huge as he halted his step into the jacuzzi. “Like.. like in here?”
“Yep.” She popped the ‘p’ at the end, running her tongue over her lower lip as she continued to stare at the one thing she wanted that was between his legs. “You sitting on the edge of the tub, me kneeling in the tub. Can we, please?” She pleaded with doe eyes to him.
Joey gulped heavily, feeling his breathing pick up as he imagined it right at that moment. He could never say no to her - not that he even wanted to try. “I - yeah - I mean sure.” He finished awkwardly, fiddling with his bottoms to get them undone and down his legs. His cock slapped against his stomach as it came free, hardened with a glistening head. Arty couldn’t help but fixate on the swollen red head of it, tracing the veins that ran down the underside of it.
“You want me to sit here?” He asked as he adjusted himself on the edge of the tub which was thankfully an inground design, meaning that where the tub ended, there was wood behind him to lean against for support.
Arty nodded and stepped into the water, reaching up to tie her hair into a bun as she moved between his parted legs to get comfortable on her knees. She was face to face now with his cock, her hands resting on his inner thighs as she leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to the head of it.
Joey let out a shaky exhale as his eyes remained glued and focused on his wife’s every move.
Her right hand wrapped around the base of his cock as she made eye contact with him, a devilish look in her eyes as she made sure he was watching. Her eyes promised him wicked, wicked things. “Are you ready?”
“Yeah.” He grunted out, biting his lip in anticipation.
She stuck her tongue out, pressing it to the underside of his cock as she work her way upwards with languid licks. Her hand pumped his base as she worked at his tip now, engulfing it into her mouth and hollowing her cheeks as she worked her sucking into a steady pace, using just the right amount of suction to make him whimper above her.
She glanced up and could see him, head tilted back as his eyes squeezed shut from the sensation.
His chest was starting to flush from the sensations he was experiencing and he knew his face was no better. He couldn’t help it though. Arty and her mouth could drag him to hell and he’d go willingly without a second thought. She was a succubus in human form. There was no doubt to him about that.
Arty continued, slurping loudly as she made sure he was lubricated just enough for what she wanted to do next. She leaned back and shot him a teasing grin as she continued to stroke his cock with firm movements, gently tugging when she got to his tip.
She loved seeing him this way, worked up and breathing heavily as he basked in the pleasure she was giving him. “You love that, daddy?” She teased him.
Joey had sweat trickling down his temple from the mix of the humid tropical air, the warm jets of water surrounding his legs, and Arty’s fellatio. He was warm all over, but the intense pleasure between his legs burned the hottest in his core.
“Fuck, Arty.. please.” He pleaded, his deep voice coming out hoarse as he stared at her with pleading eyes.
She grinned once more before taking him in her mouth once more. This time, however, she took him as deep in her mouth as she possibly could. She relaxed her mouth, trying her best to fit as much as she could of him in her mouth. A few inches short of his pubic bone, she had to stop.
Joey was groaning loudly and cussing at the sensation, especially when he felt her tongue flex on the underside of his cock, the one place he was most sensitive.
She began to bob her head slowly at first before picking up speed, gagging slightly at the size of him.
Joey never gripped her head when she deep-throated. She had asked him about it once while they were coming down from their post-coital bliss. Joey explained that he didn’t want to force her head and hurt her. Arty understood, given the size and strength of him, but a part of her wished he’d pull her hair just a bit.
Finally, after a few more bobs of her head, she pulled back, releasing him from her throat and breathing deeply to catch her breath.
She stared at the trail of saliva connecting from her lips to his weeping cock. His cock, wet with her saliva, was visibly pulsing as Joey’s hips slightly jerked upwards. He was close and she could tell. She’d give him the release he so desperately wanted.
After a few moments, Arty sat up and guided Joey into the water more as she adjusted herself to sit reverse cowgirl on him, reaching down into the water to grip his cock.
He cursed at the new rush of sensations he was experiencing. As soon as he felt his cock enter her, he moaned loudly, reaching to grip Arty’s hips tightly as she arched her ass backward and started bouncing rigorously on him, her tempo rough and fast as she clenched her walls around him to get him to his climax quicker. Times like this made her thankful she did kegel exercises in the past.
She reached down to start rubbing her clit, overly aroused herself from all of this one Joey suddenly gripped her hips tightly, yanking her down until she was sitting at the hilt as he cummed.
It was erotic to her as she felt him shoot his load into her while he panted heavily behind her, his hands holding her in place.
She continued to rub herself, chasing the building orgasm that was about to wash over her any minute.
Within moments she was cumming as well, collapsing back against Joey’s chest as the waves of intense pleasure washed over her. She could feel her hips buck instinctively a few times as Joey’s grip on her hips relaxed.
Finally, after a few more moments passed, both were sitting still, trying to catch their breath and process what just happened.
Joey reached his hands down to smooth over Arty’s hips, knowing his grip would leave bruises tomorrow with how tightly he was holding her. He pressed a series of kisses to her shoulder and neck from behind before wrapping his arms around her in a hug and leaning his chin on her shoulder. “Fuck.. I love you, babe.”
Arty giggled, slightly dazed from their lovemaking. “I love you too.”
They sat another few moments in silence before Joey gently moved Arty forward a bit so he could slip his cock out of her, careful due to the sensitivity they were both facing.
“Let’s go inside and take a nap.” Joey suggested, “We can get dinner in a bit and take a swim in the ocean. Maybe go on a boat ride.” He had been eyeing up the waterfront, his eyes taking in the beauty before him.
Arty nodded and allowed him to scoop her up and carry her inside. She rested against his chest as he carried her bridal style into the restroom.
Joey placed her carefully on the toilet so she could do her business and stepped out for a moment to check his phone.
As Arty was finishing up in the restroom and starting the shower for them, she heard Joey cursing from the master bedroom.
Stepping into the room, she looked at him in concern when she spotted him leaning forward, his head in his hands.
Beside him was his cellphone, the screen lit up with various types of notifications from social media, text messages, emails, and missed phone calls. The most recent was from his mother from what she could tell and a text message in all caps said, “JOSEPH ANTHONY BOSA. WHAT THE FUCK IS TMZ TALKING ABOUT YOU BEING MARRIED?”
Arty’s mind went blank. Someone had gotten a hold of their filing at the courthouse in Orange County… and now the gig was up.
Everyone now knew they were married.
She couldn’t even begin to consider looking at her own phone.
They were fucked.

I dont know what your limitations you have for writing shorts, but can we have a Joey Bosa short? 👀
We need some love from him, especially nowadays.
((((Abso-fucking-lutely!))) (Listening to the Weeknds Dawn FM so drawing inspiration from that)
Joey Bosa - Less Than Zero
I sat in my seat in disbelief at what just transpired this past hour. It felt like we were on top of the world at one moment.. and the next? Defeat.
I looked over to my mother-in-law who was equally shocked at the turnout.
Seeing Joey meltdown just a bit ago definitely was the icing on the cake to a rough season and I was dreading the comments that were likely already spamming the shit out of his social media accounts.
I felt my phone buzz and I looked down to see a text from Nick.
'Don't let him on social media tonight. It's not good.' Was all it read.
I showed the message to Cheryl who had tears in her eyes. It wasn't just the defeat that was felt by us, but knowing that Joey hasn't had it easy as of late and has struggled with his depression and anxiety over the last couple of years especially.
As someone who dealt with my own share of the same demons, I knew how hard it was to deal with the aftermaths of these feelings. I just wasn't a player in the NFL who would wake up to thousands upon thousands of harassing messages.
Cheryl gave me a hug as we pulled back into the hotel we were staying at - the exact same hotel where the players were staying. I waited anxiously for Joey to text me about coming up or that he was coming down. But there was nothing from him.
A few hours passed and just as I was getting to bed after trying to get some reading in, I heard a clicking sound of someone unlocking the door. The only person with the extra key card was Joey and I wasn't too worried to stop what I was doing to see.
"Hey." He muttered as he limped over to my bed. He sighed quietly as he sat down on the bed, his shoulders slumped as he stared ahead.
I quietly crawled on the bed behind him, holding my hairbrush in my hand. I sat it down next to me as I hugged him around his shoulders from behind.
He leaned back into my hug and said nothing.
We sat like that for a while before I asked him, "Want me to brush your hair?"
"Yeah." He said back quietly.
I pressed a kiss to the crown of his head, catching a whiff of his shampoo, before picking my brush up again and working on brushing his hair gently, careful with any knots I snagged.
I could feel him starting to relax a bit as we sat there in peaceful silence.
"Thank you, babe." He said to me.
I paused what I was doing, smiling sadly at him even though he didn't see it. "You're welcome, baby."
I crawled off the bed and put the brush down as Joey pulled the blankets back and got in. I followed soon after and snuggled close to him.
Just before he turned the lights off he said, "I love you."
I leaned in to kiss him languidly before pulling back, wiping the tears building at the corner of his eyes and said back, "I love you too. So much, Joey."
At some point we fell asleep in each others' arms. Knowing tomorrow, whatever came our way, we'd take care of it together.

Sliding in the DMs Part XIII
The past few weeks had been peaceful and quiet. Arty and Cassiopeia were all but moved into Joey’s place in Costa Mesa. This would be her home for a few weeks while Joey handled postseason assignments for the Chargers. Cassiopeia was not pleased at first with her new home. Instead of exploring, she chose to hide from the two of them and lurk in corners until Joey finally realized that the new stuff he bought the diva cat would not suffice. The cat wanted her stuff that was still in Arty’s apartment in West Hollywood. So, he made the car ride over there himself to retrieve her things.
Arty made sure to make fun of Joey for babying her cat as he set up a spare room just for Cassiopeia with all of her old stuff and new stuff.
Life, although beautiful, was changing so quickly for them, yet at the same time it felt like things were moving slow in their bubble. Looking at it now, almost a year in since they met, Arty felt their bubble of privacy shrinking and knew it would pop at some point from the many things going on outside of it.
That was terrifying to think about.
Neither even realized just how private and intimate their relationship had been - except for their respective younger siblings who were fooling around and not as discrete as they thought they were.. Still, Arty realized just how messy they were making this situation as more time passed. She had not yet met his parents.. He had not met hers either. She didn’t know the Bosas well except from when Joey spoke about them. With his mother, it was affection and appreciation. He was clearly close with her and in their conversations, he accredited a lot of his success and achievements to how his mom raised him and taught him. His dad? From what she understood there were a lot of hurt and unresolved feelings. He opened up to her after her outburst over her mom and the childhood abuse she experienced.
John Bosa didn’t sound like a pleasant person. At least, that was what she deduced from it all. Joey seemed to tense up when speaking to anyone about him and she could see a brief look of sadness in his expression, only for it to disappear moments later.
She knew that Joey felt the need to keep him at arm’s length regarding his career and personal life these days, and she felt empathy for him on the matter. Dealing with her own mother who was an egomaniac, was difficult. Years of therapy after spells of self-destruction taught her a lot about self-healing and trying to make peace with it all. It wasn’t easy.. Because how could anyone find peace after such abuse?
She didn’t want to push Joey any further on it though out of fear of him shutting down. Instead, she made sure to reassure him that she was there for him when he wanted to talk or share.
Arty worried for him a lot at times. She thought it was interesting that in his home here in Costa Mesa, there were only pictures of him with friends, his mom, his brother, and her. None of his dad.
Sometimes the moments when nothing was said spoke volumes more than the words exchanged.
As she lay in bed, cuddled into Joey’s side, her hand smoothed its way up the planes of his chest, her hand tickling against the hair growing there. She felt Joey shiver at the sensation as he grunted in his sleep. His arm she was tucked into flexed as he snuggled her in tighter to him, his breath evening out again.
Arty stared at him in the dark, the moon light pouring into the room was just enough for her to trace with her eyes his features. She could feel her eyes well up slightly with tears as she focused her eyes on his face.
She had never felt love like this. Something so strong, raw, and all-consuming. She had to admit that she expected them to fizzle after a few hook ups. It surprised her beyond belief to realize how long they’ve spent in each other’s presence.
Joey loved her so deeply in ways she never experienced before in a partner. Not just the sexual experiences, but the care he showed her through touch and words, through his thoughtful actions when he thought about her.
She realized in that moment that she was terrified at what would happen once others invaded their bubble. Would their love still be strong? Would others pull them apart?
As a tear slipped down her cheek, she felt him shift again, this time with him turning over to face her, his eyes still closed, but his brows were furrowed and his face tightening up slightly in discomfort. He was having a nightmare.
Arty reached up and smoothed her hand gently across his forehead, hushing him gently as he grunted. After a few more moments of soothing him, she felt him loosen up again and relax against the pillow.
His eyes opened groggily, staring with confusion into the dark until his eyes adjusted and he saw Arty staring back at him.. “Arty..”
“It’s ok. It was just a nightmare, Joey..” She soothed him, her hands coming up to pull him down and into the groove of her neck, she rubbed his upper back as she felt him shutter for a few moments, tears soaking her night shirt. “It’s ok, babe.”
She wasn’t sure how much time passed, but just as she felt him sag against her, her own eyes were hooded and fighting to stay open as sleep finally came, succumbing her to her own dream world.
—---------------- —-------------- —----------------- —--------------
Arty was lounging back on the lounge chair that Joey had on his rooftop balcony. She felt a deep pang in her stomach, her nerves heightened at the mere thought of meeting Joey's mom. He spoke to her on the phone a few hours ago, informing her he was getting ready to fly back to Florida in about two weeks... with his 'partner' was the word he described Arty as. Not girlfriend - because she no longer was - and not fiance because his mother would surely have a heart attack in response.
As she laid there thinking over every possibility that would be their first introduction, she didn't notice Joey coming outside and approaching her. She was afraid that Mrs. Bosa wouldn't accept her. That she would look through her and see the ugly parts of her on the inside, the flaws and insecurities that her mother would turn a critical eye to. It was that moment that realized her mommy issues were much deeper than just sticking it to her mom and rebelling. She was afraid of disappointing this woman she didn't even know yet. The woman who would become her mother-in-law and would also be the woman who would be the future grandmother of her children. This woman wasn't just some stranger she could turn away from and ignore if cruel. She made Joey and gave life to him. The thought of disappointing Cheryl Bosa was terrifying to Artemis Thermopoli.
Arty jolted slightly when she felt the lounge chair dip. She blinked at Joey, confused for a moment, “Holy shit you scared me!”
“I called your name twice.” He said with furrowed brows. “What’s going on? You’ve been off the last few days.”
“No, I haven’t.” She denied immediately, “I.. I’ve just been tired is all.”
“From what?” He nudged.
“Just worried about stuff. My job.. My apartment… My cat.. You..”
“Me?” Joey raised an eyebrow. “In what ways?”
“Just.. us going back to Florida… We literally got engaged without telling anyone. My own sister doesn’t even know, nor does your brother. Our parents are going to shit… Well, mine would either way because they think I’m a fucking disaster.. But Joey.. your parents are going to lose their shit.. We should have said something sooner.” She bit her lip hard at the thought of the possible fallout.
Joey sighed loudly and pulled her into him gently. “Artemis.. I get what you’re saying but there’s nothing that can be done about it now. When we started this relationship.. My relationship with my parents wasn’t good. Well, mostly mine with my dad. Even though they are divorced and have been for years, lately I have found it hard to be around my mom because of all the shit our dad put us through.. I was mad at a lot of people for a while, her being one of them. I thought..” He sighed quietly, “I thought she was selfish for trying to make it work.. Given the shit he was putting us through..”
“Like what?” She gently asked him.
“Him drinking at home, at work, and out all night. Coming home and fighting with my mom, breaking shit, vomiting everywhere and expecting her to just clean up after him. The way he was bringing women home when she worked late or was out of town, even though Nick and I were still there.. The way he prioritized his failed career and attempts to stay rich over us time and time again. He’s gotten better over the years… sure, but I didn’t realize until after college and in the league on my own for a few years just how really bad and toxic it was. I was angry all the time, Arty.” He looked down at his hands. “I was fighting with people a lot and losing my shit. One day, after fighting with my ex-girlfriend.. And breaking up with her, I looked in the mirror and saw myself.. I was becoming my dad.. And I didn’t want that.”
Arty hugged him to her and held him tightly against her like she had the night before. “You’re not like him, Joey..”
“I was though,” He muttered. “I was so fucking mean and rude to everyone. Fans, teammates, and even my family. In college alone I was an absolute dick head. Like.. I don’t think you would have wanted to know me then. Me being the person I am now, I wouldn’t want to know that guy..” He chuckled darkly.
She said nothing against him, knowing that he knew himself better than anyone else at that moment in time.
“But yeah, my mom and I just started talking regularly again. I realized a lot of my anger towards her was displaced. She was trying to do her best and uphold her vows. It’s not her fault my dad couldn’t stay sober, keep it in his pants, or let the fucking past go.”
They stayed silent for a while, leaning against each other on the lounge chair. “Whatever happens in Florida.. It changes nothing between us.” He said to her, tilting his head to look down at her as she rested her head on his shoulder. “I love you more than anything, Artemis.. Please don’t ever doubt that.”
—---------------- —-------------- —----------------- —--------------
As they were packing stuff away for what was being shipped across the country, Joey brought up wedding planning. They hadn’t paid much thought beyond breaking the news to their immediate families. Sitting in her tiny apartment, the two of them mulled over the idea of an actual wedding ceremony.
‘What was the point of planning a wedding ceremony if everyone told you to fuck off and never bother them again?’ Artemis asked.
Joey laughed and said, “We could hire a planner in Florida. I’ll rent whatever venue you want.”
“Joey.. A lot goes into planning a wedding. You really want us to start as soon as we get to Fort Lauderdale?”
“Well, if you don’t want to, we could just elope.” He shrugs nonchalantly.
Arty chuckles at that, not looking at him as she's folding a shirt to put in her suitcase. "Good one, Joey."
"No, I'm serious." He sits down behind her on the bed, "We don't have to wait that long. We don't have to do something big and crazy. We can just do us. The two of us at the courthouse." He shrugged. “We only need one witness. Hell, from there we can go on vacation to Cozumel or something.”
Artemis dropped her shirt into her suitcase and turned to face him. “Joey… you really want to get eloped?”
“Yeah. I’d go with you right now to the courthouse right now and marry if you want to.”
She sat quietly and said, “We are fucking insane, you know that right? No two people in their right minds engage and marry in a year, Joseph.”
“I never, ever said we were normal or in our right minds.” He argues back. “Artemis.. I don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks about me.. About us and our relationship. I have seen the ugly sides of fan culture and the fucking media these last few years. Our relationship? The best fucking thing of my life this past year. Nothing else compares because everything else was shit!” His words rushed out urgently, something uncharacteristic for a man who usually spoke a slower, monotone voice. “I am over giving a fuck about anyone else but us.”
Artemis bit her lip and stared at him, still unsure and feeling overwhelmed. “Joey.. let me think it over.. Ok?”
He nods and takes a seat. “Well, if you change your mind, we can ask the neighbor lady downstairs who babysits Cassiopeia.” He joked.
She chuckled at that.. Her mind distracted at the thought of eloping. ‘We are two fucking idiots..’ She looks at Joey as he’s folding some of her clothes up for the suitcase once more. ‘But I guess he’s my idiot and I’m his.’
—---------------- —-------------- —----------------- —--------------
Are we about to get a courthouse wedding next chapter? Joey sure wants to!
(I did not proof read yet - don't come for me! I'll be back later to clean it up!)

Sliding in the DMs - Joey Bosa Part I
This is born out of my imagine request for the Joey Bosa x gamer prompt I completed yesterday called She-Bear. I've decided to make this at least a 5 part story, but may extend a bit beyond that if need be. This is the 1st part that builds the backstory of the imagine, and the 2nd will continue that. Next part will be much longer. Later parts will contain 18+ content. Finally, I try to catch errors I make, but I am human, and I sadly miss shit at times.
Joey was buzzing with irritation and nerves as he waited for his team to log on and start. The last time they played, he and a few buddies from college got their ass handed to them by another team. Normally, he’d be ticked off for a bit and then get over it but this was different. The one woman on the team, Artemis7195, shit talked him the entire time. Sure, he was the one who made the first asshole remark first. He usually was when he got heated. This time around when he did it? Well, he had never heard a woman swear so heavily and heated at him before.
It enraged him.. And intrigued him.
He knew today would be the rematch he was hoping for. He looked forward to it all week.
When the team signed on, he greeted them and checked with his buddy, Schwertz, who they were playing against today.
“That team from last week. The one with the chick that had you spitting up a storm over there, Joey.”
Joey scoffed. “She was a loud mouth asshole.”
“So were you.” Schwertz pointed out.
His other friends chuckled at that as he rolled his eyes. “So fucking what? Listen, she was getting under my skin. I said shit first because I was tired of her getting to targets first.”
“Speaking of Ms. Artemis7195, I looked her up on Instagram after Carlos gave it to me. I just sent her info to you. Check it out.” Schwertz said.
Joey opened the Instagram app on his phone, went to the messenger and looked at his DMs. He opened the link of the profile Schwertz sent and cursed loudly. “Fuck! That’s her? She’s the one that’s been busting my balls?”
Joey scrolled a bit down her posts. The first one he opened was her smiling poolside in a bright blue bikini, her light brown hair tied in a messy bun atop her head. She was holding some fruity drink in her hand in a toast gesture to the camera. Another was her during her hike of what appeared to be Machu Picchu. The more he scrolled, the more he was zoning out from what was going on through his head set.
He couldn’t lie - she was fucking hot. Not the instagram model type, but the genuinely hot kind that was effortless. Her eyes appeared to be a sea foam green color and mesmerizing. She had an amazing figure. A slim, athletic build, with nice-sized breasts (he was a man looking at a bikini photo - he could tell). He wasn’t one that really had a set type, but his physical reaction to her appearance was instantaneous.
“JOEY!” The shout of his name snapped him out of his revere and back to reality.
“Yeah?”
“What the fuck were you doing just now dude, jacking off to her pics or some shit? I’ve called your name about 5 times before I had to yell at you!”
“Sorry man, I was fucking out of it for a minute. Happens sometimes.” Joey said nonchalantly, not really sorry about it, and not bothering to respond back to the ribbing.
“Well, we are about to start in a minute. Think you can keep your cool this time?”
“I’m fine. As long as she doesn’t start shit with me, we’re cool.”
“You mean.. As long as you don’t start shit, right?” Schwartz teased.
“Whatever man, start the fucking game.” Joey said.
‘Here we fucking go,’ he thought to himself as he glanced once more at the Instagram account still opened up on his iphone. He quickly tapped the follow button on her account and tossed his phone to the side. He’d deal with it later.

Joey bosa x reader - trash talking online gaming opponents to lovers
Joey Bosa - She-Bear
Joey was waiting on his couch, his game already on and ready for him to get online. He was just waiting impatiently for the text to come through. He spent the last half hour lounged on the couch and scrolling through Instagram, occasionally getting out of the app and checking his imessages once more in case he missed the notification. Nothing came through yet.
Finally, what felt like an eternity (that was really on 5 minutes) his phone pinged.
He quickly opened the message and sat up in excitement. Under the nickname he saved her contact as was a message.
Artemis Ready to get your ass handed to you, Big Bear?
Joey scoffed at that and smiled as he quickly texted back.
Big Bear Last I checked, I won the last round which means it's your ass getting handed to you, She-Bear.
Artemis 😑🖕whatever. get on here and let's get started!!
Within minute, Joey could hear her cursing on her end through his headset.
"Language." He chided.
"Ha! Says the guy who cusses in interviews and can't go more than 5 minutes in a regular conversation without doing so. How's it going Joey?" She teased back.
Joey was sure if she could see his face, she would be teasing him right now.
Funny, when they first ended up against one another on COD, they couldn't stand one another to the point that both of their respected teams booted them. They ended up going on to play one-on-one and it was a total shit show. Joey never met a woman who could outswear him so passionately and effectively. He was shocked and impressed.
After a few months, of playing against each other a few times a week, he got her number and they started texting, then face timing.
When he found out recently that she also lives in LA, he was over the moon excited, but kept it to himself.
This game today would determine who picked the restaurant they were going to meet up at tomorrow night.
Honestly, Joey didn't give a shit if he won or lost today. If anything, he felt like the real winner anyways.
He'd finally get to spend time with his girl in person.. except she wasn't technically "his girl" yet anyways.
"It's going well. Can't wait to kick your ass and hear you cry, Arty." He quipped back.
"We'll see. We'll see." She sang back, "I plan to win and get free food tomorrow. A girl's gotta eat, y'know?"
Little did she know that Joey was planning to pay for it anyway.
"I like a girl with an appetite." Joey said.
"Oh? So you like girls who cuss like sailors and eat a lot? Are you trying hint at something, Big Bear?"
"I think I've been pretty obvious as of late. You'll see tomorrow." Joey said back confidently.
"I look forward to it." She flirted back.
Yeah, he was certain she was the one.

Sliding in the DMs - Part XII
Joey rubbed his eyes, tired from last night’s events. He spent some time on the phone with Nick, the two having a heart to heart about the recent events in their respective lives (leaving the engagement conversation for a later date due to the gravity of the current situation). Nick was heated just as Joey was after finding out what Arty and Athena had apparently been through. It explained a lot in some cases, but still left a lot unsaid that needed to be addressed.
Joey reached out to gently touch Arty’s arm, expecting her to be asleep still, but felt nothing. He rolled over and stared at the empty side of the bed where she should have been. He looked at the alarm on her side and saw it was 9:00 am. Sighing, he slowly got up and out of bed, rubbing his face and walking towards the bedroom door. Arty had to be somewhere in the house.
Joey made his way down the hall and out towards the kitchen, passing the living room on his way. He stopped and backtracked a few steps to find Arty sitting on the sofa with her cat. He stayed there in the entryway for a few moments, taking in her tired posture as she was petting Cassiopeia, who was on her lap.
Joey walked in slowly, his footsteps catching Arty’s attention and causing her to look up. She did so, smiling gently at him and softly greeting, “Hey. Good morning.”
“Morning.” Joey said back, taking a seat next to her and reaching over to gently pet Cassiopeia as well. The cat chirped in greeting to him and remained purring on Arty’s lap, eyes closed.
“Did you just get up?” Arty asked.
“Hmm.” Joey nodded. “You weren’t in bed and I wanted to come make sure you were ok.”
Arty nodded, saying nothing and choosing instead to stare thoughtfully at the engagement ring on her finger.
“Artemis.. What’s been going on?” Joey asked softly. “I know there’s a lot that bothers you and you mask it well a lot of the time, but I can still see it underneath it all. Last night, that was the first time I’ve ever seen you break down. Please… let me help you.” Joey reached out and gently grasped the hand she was staring at. He squeezed her hand lightly and held it as she continued to stare off into space.
“I don’t know where to start.” She admitted, a sorrowful expression taking over. “I just… I don't know what I can do or say to express myself in a way that doesn’t make me feel like I’m being torn open. I’ve worked so hard to build myself up and put all those feelings and memories away. I went to therapy, I got on medication, I developed a coping plan.. Yet, it never seems to leave. It’s always there, waiting for me to fail..”
“What’s waiting for you to fail?” Joey asked.
“Life is waiting for me to fail. To fail and end up back under my mother’s thumb. I feel at times like I’m chained down by so much shit. I moved across the country, worked my way up in my career, borrowed to pay for my own education, and paid for all my stuff on my own.. And yet, I sometimes feel like my mom and her shit is always just waiting for me to fall so I have to go back there. Go back to my parents to bail me out and build me up. Did I tell you I got disinherited by my parents?” Arty blurted out, tears starting to fall down.
“What?” Joey asked in disbelief, his brain still reeling with all of this sudden information being poured out to him. “What the fuck? Why?”
“Money makes people do crazy things with their egos. I know you come from some money.” She looked at him to disagree, but he smartly said nothing in return. “There’s old money and there’s new money. I am assuming your mom comes from a type of old money down the line and your dad is new money from his time in the NFL and investments post-career.” Joey’s shocked reaction at her deduction made her smile a bit, “I listen when you tell me stuff and I googled about you pretty early on.. I come from a mix of old and new money. My paternal grandparents, Nikolaos and Althea Thermopylae, were immigrants who moved to the USA in the 1970s, with my father, who was just a kid at that time. My grandma Althea comes from old money in Greece and was the daughter of a wealthy landowner in Attica. Nikolaos was not and by marrying my grandmother without proper permission, it led to a scandal in their circle and my grandmother was disowned. Yet, the money she had hidden away, knowing what would happen when her marriage got out, was used to emigrate to America with my dad who was just a baby at the time.”
Arty stopped speaking for a moment and dried her eyes. “They used the money to buy a car wash and laundromat. Both of which were successful, and so they expanded to owning a restaurant, two gas stations, another car wash, and so on. Before you knew it, my grandfather built a networth of over $200 million.. And then my dad met my mom.. Who came from some money, but nowhere near that.. And then us anchor babies, Athena and I, came to be to cement the marriage.” Arty said bitterly. “My dad went on to take over Thermo Enterprises and built another $250 million on the value of the family businesses.” Joey’s eyes got huge at that. “Yeah, our family is sitting on half a billion dollar fortune.. And yet, my mom just doesn’t see it all as enough. There always has to be more and my dad has become so numb to reality due to this lifestyle that the house we grew up in felt like a prison at times… but yeah, rich girl problems, am I right?” Arty laughed bitterly.
Joey sat there quietly, mulling her words over. “Artemis..”
“I just wake up every day, hoping for the best and reminding myself that I am enough because 8 year old me wasn’t enough. 10 years old me wasn’t enough. 18 years old me wasn’t enough. I was always treated like I wasn’t enough. And it’s easy some days to fake like I am ok and that everything is fine and grand. I mean, I have a job that pays good and I enjoy doing. I have friends out here that are down to hang out but don’t push me. I have my apartment, my cat.. And I have you.” She looks at him with large eyes, tears streaming down her cheeks. “I have you and suddenly I feel like I am enough and that I am deserving of love.” She sobs at that last part. “I love you because you let me be me and you trust me to enough show me the real you.”
Joey suddenly moves closer on the couch and pulls her into her arms, causing Cassiopeia to jump off the couch and onto the nearby chair, watching the two with her typical unimpressed look on her face. “Artemis.. I fucking love you. More than anything. Please know that you are enough. You are enough to me, to your sister, to your friends, and even enough for Cassiopeia.” They chuckle tearfully at that last part. “You never have to feel like you have to hide this. We both have issues from fucked up childhoods.. I can relate to some of that, but know, please that I will never judge you for showing me this side of you. I love you. All of you. Every bit and every inch.” Joey cradles her face and presses a kiss to her forehead, breathing in her scent before pulling back and wiping away her tears with his thumb. “Anyone who tries to make you feel less is not fucking worth the time, effort, or energy.”
They stay cuddled like that for a bit and Arty starts chuckling to herself. “What?” Joey asked, amused by her sudden laughing.
“I was just thinking of something silly that came to mind.”
“What’s that?” Joey asked.
“How burned out I’ve been when I come home from work, and how happy I am to change into my lazy clothes.” She mused.
Joey nodded in agreement. “I feel the same after working out. It’s nice to come home, change, and relax for the day.”
"I just.. shit has been rough as of late... sometimes I just wanna come home, take my bra off, and pig out with my tits out. You know?"
Joey sat there across from her, mulling over her words and said, "you can do that whenever babe and I'll join you."
"You're gonna have your tits out too?" Arty teased.
Joey smirked at her and said dryly, “Absolutely.”
Arty laughed at that and reached up to wipe the rest of the tears on her cheeks. She was silent for a few moments before speaking again, “I’m sorry I broke down last night and lost my mind, and doing it again just now. That was not what I intended for at all. The Athena thing.. was a bad reminder of stuff I went through in the past.”
“I understand.” Joey says, pressing another kiss to her forehead.
“I love you.” She says to him, pressing a kiss to his lips and pulling back to smile at him.
“I love you too.” He smiles back at her, suddenly pulling her up to stand with him, causing her to let out a loud shriek at the sudden movement. “Now,” he lifts her bridal style with ease, “Let’s go shower and then go for breakfast.”
“No morning work out today?” She teases, her arm wrapped around his neck and the other holding onto his shoulder.
“Nah. Today’s my day off. We’ll go eat and then go to my place in Costa Mesa.. I have a hot tub, don’t forget.”
“Then why are we always here again?” She pouted at him.
“Because I like being here.” He says simply, walking them down the hall. “Home for me is where you are at. If you’re living here, then it’s home to me. If you’re living with me in Costa Mesa, then that’s home. You’re my home.” He sits her gently on the bathroom counter, moving to cage her in and press his forehead to hers.
She closes her eyes and leans into him. “You’re my home too. Wherever you are is my home too.”
They smile at each other, once more leaning in to each other to kiss, wanting to be nowhere else, but with each other in that moment and forever.

You and Joey have been on a few dates. You guys finally taking it to the next level in the bedroom
Come In - Joey Bosa
18+ content ahead!
He guided her to her apartment door and leaned down to kiss her goodbye. They stood like that for a few moments as he slowly pressed her back against the door.
Finally, after a few more moments of making out, she leaned back and bit her lip, her hand toying with the loose strand of hair that came out of his updo. "Do you want to come in for a bit?" It was pretty late, about 12:00am. They had gone to dinner and then to a comedy show together. Every date together so far had been amazing.
Joey smirked and leaned down once more to peck her on the lips. "Sure, I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow."
They spent the next hour on the couch, no longer paying any attention to the random show she put on, instead Joey had her dress bunched up her waist and his right hand down her panties, slowly inching closer and closer to her core.
Her back was pressed against the couch as they made out languidly.
His hand slipped out of her panties and reached up to gently tug the front of her dress down, exposing her breasts to the chilled air of her apartment.
Joey tugged at one of her nipples while latching on to the other.
She moaned loudly and threaded her fingers into his hair, tugging at his locks when his teeth gently nipped at her nipple.
Joey then released her breast with a resounding 'pop' sound, blowing on it and causing goosebumps to appear across her skin.
"Bedroom?" Was all he asked.
She nodded dazedly and sat up with his help, gasping as he pulled her into his arms, her legs immediately wrapping around his waist as he carried her out of the living room.
"Where to?"
"Down the hall and last door on the right." She said.
They continued on, not bothering with the tv still playing in the background.
Joey got the door open and sat her down gently on the bed, yanking his shirt off and undoing the button on his jeans before crawling on top of her.
He stopped for a moment and stared at her intently, "are you sure?"
She smiled back at him. "Yeah, make love to me, Joey."
That's all he needed to hear.

Please sexy Joey Bosa comforting him after the loss
Joey Bosa - Comfort
18+ plus content ahead
She wasn't sure how they made it to her bed in her hotel room, but the second Joey made his way into her room and shut the door behind him, he was on her.
The fumbled with their clothes, thankfully neither wearing much layers between the two, as his kisses made their way down the side of her jaw and her neck, stopping at the curve of her collarbone when he leaned back to stare down at her.
She gulped at the hungry look in his eyes - but even then, there was pain there too.
She remembered earlier about finding out the shit storm brewing online against her fiance and how she would do anything to keep him busy tonight.
Usually after a loss he either reacted in one of three ways. He either wanted quiet and comfort, space and solitude while he dealt with his emotions, or he wanted some type of physical distraction which usually led to sex.
Tonight seemed to be that route he was taking.
She found herself suddenly laying on her back on the mattress, staring up at Joey as he stripped his boxers off and got on the bed with her. She knew it was going to be a long night and could feel her own body humming with anticipation.
She's do anything to make him feel better.
With her thighs resting on his shoulders, her hand tangled in his blonde locks, and his head between her legs, she couldn't imagine anywhere else she wanted to be. His hand reached up to toy with her right breast as she stared down at him lovingly. His own eyes staring back with equal adoration.
Even an hour later when he was climbing off her gently and helping to clean her up for bed, she smiled through the ache between her thighs as he pressed his lips against hers, drawing her close as he lifted her into his arms. They laid down together in the bed while she held him against her breast as they fell asleep in tangle of limbs and sheets.

Sneak Peak for Slide in the DMs - Joey Bosa - Part II
“Eat dirt, you little bitch!” Was all Joey could hear being shouted down his headset. He gritted his teeth and chucked his controller onto the floor. The batteries flying out of it as it collided with the hardwood floor and a message popping up on his tv that his controller disconnected.
“You are a really arrogant ass bitch, you know that right?” Joey spat down the mic.
He could hear taunting chuckles on return and swore some more. “Honestly, you are so fucking arrogant and pigheaded. And I don’t know why I keep fucking playing against you when you got us kicked out of our teams!”
“I got us kicked out? I did? Last I checked more Big Bear, you were the one who started this shit by being a chauvinistic prick to me!” Artemis argued back.
“How the fuck was I being a chauvinistic prick? By calling out your dirty tactics?” He jeered back.
“Says the man who can’t keep his fucking temper in check. Why don’t you kiss my ass, you over-inflated egomaniac?”
They continued to cuss back and forth before Artemis cut him off and said. “If you’re so bothered by me then why add me privately to play against? Why DM me constantly and follow me on Instagram?”
He didn’t respond so she continued on, “Yeah, that’s what I thought. Because the way I see it is that you’re attracted to me and my bad attitude, but are too prideful to admit it.”
Joey laughed in disbelief. “Me attracted to you? You’re no looker. You’re barely a 5.” He said rudely.
It was silent for a minute and Joey was confused.
Why wasn’t she saying anything back?
“You know, you’re a real asshole, Bosa.” She said quietly and left the game.
Joey sat there, unsure of what just happened. His heart started to race as he realized he took things a bit far this time around. As someone who was insecure of his own looks, attacking her like that wasn’t right and not something he usually did.
He quickly reached for his phone and sent her a quick DM.
Joey
Artemis, listen, that was fucked up of me. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that. I didn’t mean it.
Artemis
Then why say it?
Joey
Because I’m an asshole who’s attracted to you. And because I am a coward who wouldn’t say anything at first. I’m sorry.
Artemis
I think I need some time away from whatever this dysfunction is.

EROS - κεφάλαιο (Chapter) 2
Gaea couldn't believe it. She was shaking Dean Spanos' hand and a few other Chargers administration after accepting the deal. The entire meeting felt like a blur. She had sent her work ahead of time to the secretary who originally reached out last week. It was looked at beforehand and again during the meeting.
Dean Spanos spoke animatedly with her about Greece, his own Greek heritage, and being Greek American. Honestly, Gaea was surprised with how warmly he treated her, but was grateful for it. He shook her hand once more while leading her to the door, with promises for contracts to be sent to her lawyer as soon as the end of the day for signing. They would have one more additional meeting to discuss setting up the commision dates, but so far, she got the commision! She could feel her phone buzzing in her pocket, most likely Howie, who zoomed in to today's meeting, congratulating her. She was hyped and couldn't wait to tell Nysa and Josie.
Gaea was shocked at the very tall man leaning against the wall across from the conference room door, playing on his phone. When he heard them step out, he looked up and locked eyes with her. He looked shocked for a second and stared at her before awkwardly blinking, clearing his throat, and then smiling at her. "Hey, Gaea."
It took her a second to process that it was Joey Bosa in front of her. "Hey, Joey. I didn't realize you were going to meet me here."
"Yeah, I figured to save you from getting lost and asked around at what conference room you'd be in."
Gaea went to say something else before she was interrupted by Mr. Spanos next to her. "Joey, my boy! Good to see you here! Did you need anything?"
"Hey, Mr. Spanos. Good to see you too. No, I'm actually here to get Gaea. We're going for lunch."
Mr. Spanos smiled at that and nodded his head in agreement. "Ah. I understand. Ms. Tsakonas, I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but Joey here is the one who suggested your work when he caught wind about our project. He has a good eye and chose well! You're art is impeccable!"
Joey cleared his throat awkwardly, his cheeks pink at the admission. "Ah, yeah. She's wonderful. A really great artist." He looked at Gaea sheepishly, who was smiling shyly back at him.
Mr. Spanos looked between the two and cleared his throat, "Well I have to head out now and I don't want to keep you any longer. I hope you two have a good lunch. We'll be in touch Ms. Tsakonas," He shook her hand firmly. "And Joey?" He looked towards his player, "I look forward to seeing you on the field this season. Take care you two!" He walked off.
Gaea approached Joey and they started heading down the long hallway, her following his lead. "I take it the meeting went good then?" Joey asked.
Gaea chuckled in disbelief. "I can't fucking believe it.. $500,000 for this project. That's the most I've ever made on a commissioned piece... It's insane!"
Joey smiled at her and gently bumped his shoulder into her's. "Well, I think a congratulations is in order then. You pick the restaurant and it'll be my treat."
Gaea smiled back at him and tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear, "You don't have to treat me! I can help pay for half of it."
Joey waved her off, "I insist. It's cool. My treat since I was the one to offer it in the first place. Plus, I'm probably going to eat a lot of stuff, so it just makes sense to do one bill." He was so nonchalant about it all and Gaea found that oddly endearing about him. He spoke in a deep, but calm voice. As if he wasn't in any rush to get anywhere. She liked that a lot about him, especially since the last guy she went to dinner with talked a mile a minute and barely gave her a moment to process what he was saying. It was exhausting.
"If you insist.." She trailed off.
They walked in mutual silence for a minute or so before they reached the door leading them outside. Joey opened the door for her and allowed her through first.
She smiled her thanks and folded her arms nervously. She wasn't the best at talking or dating in general. Sure, maybe it was too soon to say they were dating - they literally just met face to face not even 15 minutes ago, but she could tell that Joey was interested and had been for a while.
She spent some time looking back Instagram notifications and saw that he started liking posts about two months ago and even commented a few times. She wasn't sure how she missed that part, but realized that she didn't always read comments as much and that an occasional blue tick next to an official account wasn't something she paid much attention too as not many were in her comments - with the exception of her brother occasionally commenting on her stuff. (AlexioTska: ayyy sis, pls make me an Itachi piece. i'll venmo u later!  / she never responded.)
Joey guided her to his Mercedes and opened the door for her again. She thanked him and ducked into the car, surprised at how comfortable the seats were. Her 2015 Toyota Camry had nothing on this.
He slid in and shut the door. He turned to her and smiled at her content look. "Comfy?"
"Hell yeah! My car can't even lean the damn seat back and this one feels amazing. How the fuck can a carseat feel this comfortable? What is it even made of?"
Joey scratched his head and laughed a bit at that. "I honestly have no idea. I told my agent to order me this with comfortable seating since I deal with ongoing back issues from previous injuries. This is what I got. The seats can also heat up and have a massage component in them too. Never had to use either, but you can try with the buttons on the right side of the seat."
He started the car up and backed out of his parking spot. "Where are we planning to go?"
Gaea stopped fiddling with the seat for a minute before biting her lip in contemplation.  "Pom & Olive on 1400 Bristol St."
Joey typed the address and started following the directions out of the parking lot. They waved at the security guards at the gate on the way out. "How long have you been in LA?"
"About 4 years now. I moved here to work on my Master's degree in Art History and then stayed to do my PhD in History at UCLA. You?"
"Well, I've been with the Chargers for 5 seasons now, but we moved to LA 4 years ago as well, 2017. Wasn't really sure how I felt about the move, but I was locked in a rookie contract and had no choice. Then, I was able to negotiate an even better contract last season so I'm here at least for a few more years. Not sure."
"Honestly? Same. I just think of what I need to finish now in terms of obligations. Then, I'll worry about post-doctoral work. I can't control that right now, so I'm doing it day by day as best as I can. It's hard sometimes." Gaea admitted.
Joey nodded in agreement. "That's smart. I try to look at things similarly, but I agree with you about how it can be hard to stay in that mindset."
They were quiet for a few minutes as Gaea pulled her phone out to respond to Howie's billion and one texts.
She didn't see it, but Joey glanced a few times her way, a smile on his face. She didn't know it now in this moment, but Eros' arrows had struck Bosa in his heart and in that moment when they made eye contact earlier, he could feel his world shift. Yet, neither of them knew it just yet.

"With good reason, love's messengers, Eros and Kama, are armed with bows and long-distance arrows. No being, god or mortal, can choose love. Love comes despite ourselves; and then, if we have not already done so, we have the task of becoming ourselves so we may welcome love."
