also speaking of the galar stuff in jn can i mention how silly it was that people got mad that goh caught eternatus. “he’s not experienced enough he’s only been a trainer for a short amount of time!!” a) he’s clearly pretty experienced at the capturing part by now and held his own in that battle well despite everything and b) cant you make that excuse for most protags

#also he doesnt even keep and use it so like theres nothing to get pissed about anyways #same deal w suicune like hes registered as its trainer but its clearly a ''eh im my own guy ill do what i want'' deal #echoed voice #jn didnt have the best writing but most of the goh complaints were pretty dumb #''hes a hoarder!!!'' yes this child who has a whole home grown ecosystem for his pokemon to roam around in #where they all have their own dynamics and homes where they can also generate their own weather #where said child has several adults and his best friend to help him with all his pokemon and feed them and give each attention #something hes consistently shown to do #is exactly like someone hoarding several cats in a small space where they compete for food and are just there for personal pleasure
