i think i’m gonna do jjk art/environment concepts more consistently and steer away from csm for a bit bc i’m kinda running out of ideas on that end of the spectrum 🥲 it’s been such a long time since i’ve done a mahito piece so i wanted to give some life to his character on my feed and i never really got any ideas till yesterday when i saw this interior reference! i thought the arch/venetian-like windows would add a gothic element to it and the buildings outside were unclear in the ref but they kinda resembled lost architecture, ruins with vegetation that’s outgrown itself and hang over verandas and stuff yk!! in other news i can’t wait for phantom parade to get released 😋

finally got around to drawing a fem mahito piece! didn’t rly know what i was doing w the composition but i stuck with this at the end!!
