Boredom. I think Jhin would definitely fall in love with someone he found interesting, someone who kept his brain alive, someone that inspired him over and over again, someone who would bring colors into the dull world around him. He would date someone if he finds them his muse, truly.

So if he was the breakup with someone it would be over some discourse that drained all the color they used to bring into his life. Disagreeing with his murderous art for example or maybe trying to get him to change when he thinks for such a hard fact that its the world that needs changing not him. He has grandiose ideals that he needs to accomplish and if they can't let him do that... Then off they go, literal. He would off them. Can't have anyone he doesn't trust know his face, and the fact that he's the golden demon, running free. This sociopath has a twisted idea of love/true love/romance and if his partner doesn't live up to it then he wouldn't want it.
