The Chicago pendant. Carved Jet and leather. The way this is piece opens is by sliding the leather ends out from the grooves. The leather being wider at the ends, preventing it from sliding out. I consider this one of my classical pieces. Jet itself is a material very similar to wood and carved like wood but is morphing towards coal.
