5/5/2004: Candide is presented in a semi-staged concert at Avery Fisher Hall. The cast included Patti LuPone, Kristin Chenoweth, Jeff Blumenkrantz, and Paul Groves.

Audra McDonald....We have three things in common: We both like to sit and sing Jeff Blumenkrantz tunes, I am also married to Will Swenson, and I too have five Tony's. She's incomparable. The mouth! The face! The ringing for no reason at all! I hope to God, we get to mix together one day.
