i really really really hate the cover art for OR’s new single 🫣 i don’t like the entire concept but i think the light purple color of the bandaids just doesn’t contrast the b&w enough idk

I agree with this, I hateeeee it and it’s extra disappointing when the Sour art was so good and iconic - it looks very bad 2014 artwork, and I also like. Idk bro I feel like a big shitty meanie for saying this but I’m saying it from a photography perspective: she doesn’t have a profile that works for a stark profile shot, especially not one that’s edited like this. The combo of her face shape wITH the non contrasty b&w just makes the whole thing feel soooooo flat. Doesn’t mean she’s not beautiful!!!! But you have to work with your assets and I feel like she or an art director should’ve known that didn’t work at all
