Speaking of character playlists, what's your favourite? Is there?

I myself have several, but they're less of a "what character would listen to" and more of a general vibe. And then there's this one that's so ooc but i like it because i like a music progression

i was specifically talking about the nice guys because the 70s setting really coincides with a lot of my music taste and i feel like the generational differences between the three characters makes it so much fun to figure out what music they listen to

as for character playlists i feel like making character playlists w songs i associate with the characters is like a step further in difficulty. because to me it has to fulfill both era accuracy and the association and thats like. just really difficult. its also a really subjective thing which is why i just like to make my own playlists. like i think almost every playlist has a song i disagree with on it which is normal. so i like to frankenstein my own playlists together sometimes

ill also admit that making playlists that are ooc (as in the character would not fucking listen to that) is fun and i mean in the end youre listening to the music on your own so who really cares!!!

i have a feeeeew character playlists but i like to keep them really short (like 8-15 songs) because i really want it to be a list of songs that i think fit the characters... which is why theyre constantly works in progresses and unfinished

HOWEVER i was gonna share what genres and songs i specifically associate with the nice guys so im gonna do that in another post :)
