has anyone seen darlings 2022 btw........i feel like bollywood dv movies always leave a bad taste in my mouth cause no one even tries to have a fresh take beyond divine feminine trauma porn but oh my god i want to see alia bhatt do a revenge narrative. i want to see her kill

#and alia bhatt DOES have the range shes my nepo actress du jour she could do it #its just that divine feminine based revenge plots are soooo annoying 2 me but i have to admit #india has a much bigger claim to women in mythology who bite and kill in a divine way.#its just that whenever ive seen dv plots or whatever in bwood it's like how can you do this a daughter in the house is lakshmi herself #as opposed to like. shes a person. mistreating her isnt a cosmic crime its a human one to be judged by people #and they always twist it to be about men somehow. i dont think short form/indie brown media has this problem btw #cause ive seen some really good low budget projects. but in mainstream big budget it's like sitting through a kindergarten class
