hey folks having once again not slept for fear of a cryptid that only lives in appalatchia i am having a lot of detailed thoughts on where steven moffat went wrong esp today with amy pond and the 11th doctor

#like i feel like shes not given as much autonomy as like any other character and also like #with her moffat was trying to replicate the love people have for rose and donna #like oooooh she and the doctor are in looove BORING we saw this with rose get a new shtick #and then when theyre pretending amy and the doctor are besties they still keep acting like theres a love triangle? so they cant come CLOSE #to replicating donna noble vibes #its friends its lovers shes MARRIED they keep pulling bait-and-switches for if shes still got a thing for 11 #idk if theyre going for a homoerotic friendship or what but if so its not working #it just doesnt work like at all ughhhhhh #on top of that amy is put in all these weird contrived scenarios where she has to be rescued and yet they cant decide if shes at all #competent or not like arghhhhhh #i would have loved to see amy the doctor and rory as a polycule but steven moffat is a massive coward #shaking and screaming and crying vibrating at frequencies inaudible to the human ear #my thots #whoposting
