I won't make any promises, but this fic does mean a lot to me—it was my NaNoWriMo project for three years!—so I'd be sad if I never did anything with it. But it's definitely not at the point where it's ready to be shared yet. It's a real mess!

There are a bunch of snippets posted there, as well as a link to the short I started (and never finished) that inspired the full-blown novel. The story has undergone a lot of changes since that initial idea, and it starts at an ending that I'm not sure will be the final ending anymore, but it's maybe got the vibes I'm going for, and I think the link is broken now, so here's a new one!

#replies #criticaaaaaaaal #gifs i made #🥺#thank youuuu <33333 #i'm not sure how *ryuketsu* it really is/is gonna be but it's me so i mean it's absolutely there to some extent lol #though tbh one of the relationships that surprised me in this was the one between junketsu and senketsu #they're demon (based off of oni) siblings in the au #(and not actually called 'senketsu' and 'junketsu' though idk maybe i'll incorporate at least 'senketsu' eventually)#(for now they're just 'red demon' and 'blue demon' because fairytale vibes lol)#but yeah junketsu isn't exactly nice to senketsu a lot but she *does* genuinely care about him #and this scene where they're separated got to me... like it totally broke her #it's probably egotistical to say that my writing affected me but i wasn't even expecting to care much for this relationship #but then it ended up being one of the most emotionally devastating ones to me ^^;#sadly after like 100k of current story (50k is a scrapped older draft rip) senketsu and ryuko haven't interacted *that* much #but i do like them a lot too 😭#idk about this fic but someday i would like to share it....#klk fairytale au #ish maybe?
