i.... I just wanted something to watch that I didn't really have to pay attention to, so I chose Big Fish (2003) because it looked like a silly little movie with ewan mcgregor in it and THEN BY THE END IM FULL ON SOBBING WTF I WASN'T PREPARED FOR THIS

#yo wtf #it was good but daaaaaaaamn his dad asking him to tell him how he dies fucking GOT me #his kid hates his dads' stories for 20+ years and then on his dad's death bed HE comes up with a story for his dad IM 😭😭😭#big fish #big fish 2003 #i was not prepared to be emotionally devastated coming in to a movie with a trailer where a baby is birthed at top speed and slides down...#... a hallway #ewan mcgregor #also crazy cast steve buschemi danny devito helena bonham carter and a teeny tiny miley cyrus #naomi watches things tag #im normally not a big crier but the fact that the son tells his dad a story on his dead bed #which is literally the kindest thing he could do. even though he's hated his dad's stories for years #and then learns the value of them after that and continues on with the stories for his own kid?????? im emotional #also just a really great funeral scene to see all the friends he made over the years #and just like his son sad. every one was happy and having a good time talking about his life :)#early 2000s campy movie with ewan mcgregor involving a circus???? weird that it happened twice
