“You’re a pro athlete, mate,” Lando chuckles, “you should handle this a little better I’d reckon.” Much to Oscar’s dismay, Lando does look a lot less affected by climbing a fucking mountain. He hates it more than he likes to admit.

“But it’s different,” Oscar counters, “driving a formula one car is a lot more fun.”

The words feel weird in Oscar’s mouth, hollow somehow. Lando must hear it too because he turns his head fully now. “Is it?” He asks and Oscar swallows around nothing.
