this is a very like, niche and probably strange buddie fic request but buck was the one to bring up adam sandler movies first aksjdfh but anyway i want i big daddy buddie au where shannon gets pregnant with chris but never tells eddie until one day when chris is 6 where she drops him off on eddie’s doorstep (of the apartment he happens to share with buck). and like there are two ways to play it really bc you could keep it similar to the movie where eddie happens to be out of town for the week so buck is the one who unwittingly ends up taking care of chris and they bond~ or you could have eddie and buck both be home and they just end up navigating the whole situation together with buck sort of accidentally becoming a coparent bc eddie’s freaking out since he never knew he had a kid and how is he supposed to take care of one on his own????? and then they fall in love and become a family etc etc
