WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THERES A QUANTUM LEAP REBOOT
#I'm only on episode 2 but so far i actually like it#and its a SEQUEL and not a straigh reboot or nonsensical retconny prequel#ive already noticed things that strongly suggest its made by people who actually LIKE the original and are trying to build on it#rather than make it 'cool' or modernise it in shallow dumb ways#it has a diverse if small cast and doesnt shy away from the cheese and the main guy is actually pretty likeable so far#and theres a het couple at the core but theyre actually pretty sweet. not a huge amount of chemistry but i like them well enough#I'm not bored or disgusted by their dynamic so far at least which is something#and AL AND SAM ARE STILL SORTA PART OF THE STORYLINE#though Al is dead and I'm trying not to dwell on that because he got to die old and happy with his family who love sam as much as he did#i need someone to be as excited about this as i am
