#it doesnt look that high but rn i dont even have varric maxed out; and he's the one i constantly get approval with x'd#but genuinely i was surprised when i heard so many ppl say they had trouble befriending him with a pro mage hawke#cus i bring him along p regularly even to mage centered quests and i still get max approval by the end of the game#well. liam *is* vocal against blood magic so that helps probably#tho the first time i played he was way more neutral on it (at the beginning at least) and i still max friended him#and tbf he gets less eager abt it in act 3 but at the same time hes the most open/willing abt supporting them in act 2#guess liam is just built different xdd#laya plays dragon age#da2#getting to the point now where approval does matter so i gotta start paying at least a little attention to who i bring where lol#so far im on track with everyone i think so no need to get finicky about it just yet~
