When i saw the card i did think of his "i missed the opportunity to die" line in Shinsengumi
#he didnt get involved in the yumenosaki affairs because he was busy with the shinkai cult#now in the cult lookback story hes just. defeated#at the end of the day what has he accomplished. alone? nothing for the people he cares about. but with other peoples help? plenty#but i get it i get not recognizing that you still achieved something if it wasnt on your own and you had help#i just hope that madara can forgive himself and that the soul searching and rebranding will do him good#it doesnt look like it rn but. well. we'll see when in the timeline this story is set#enstars
