WAIT i dunno if anyone who follows me remembers my old love live ocs from when i was in my last year of highschool or if i even posted them on my blog but LAST night i remembered them so here. they are kjflsdsdf

rough summary of these old ocs under the cut!

their relation to love live is pretty loose since there’s only two main characters and they’re fifth years in a canadian highschool BUT the plot was that crew cut girl (her name is Su) decides last second to become a school idol and the glasses girl (Mickey) decides to help her for fun

Su’s the only idol but she has 3 different personas she plays as on stage (based off the sif attributes lol) with different wigs and different singing styles jkdfsjgdfs a bubbly outgoing one, a cool aloof one, and a gentler, quieter one. none of these personas are like her real personality which is: bastard. sometimes her real personality slips through on stage though

Mickey’s like, a support card in SIF KLFDSIwkjsdfds she doesnt do any idol stuff herself but she helps out Su as an extra pair of hands when she’s making costumes or other stuff. she used to play piano as a kid but she’s forgotten like 80% of it and now she just plays tambourine to keep time (sorry these ocs had a lot of game specific love live references) she’s also like, so mysterious for no reason at all. like, she has secrets dont get me wrong, but she’s needlessly cryptic and brooding like all the time like the stakes of these character’s plotlines werent THAT high... i have no idea why i drew her so ominously but i love her and it feels right

the plot for these OCs was mostly Su and Mickey’s journey together doing love live school idol activities and slowly rising in the ranks of (minor) stardom. Su does most of her idol stuff herself or with Mickey (outfits are modified off-the-shelf clothing and she does a lot of cover songs) and sometimes she gets a hand from school staff and the occasional other fifth year, but its mostly all her EXCEPT... since she began her school idol journey she started receiving unsigned notes in her locker with song lyrics in them, and Su starts making songs based off them in hopes of figuring out who’s doing it (she also kind of gets a crush on the mysterious sender since some of the lyrics are pretty romantic). now since there are only two major characters here. you can probably guess. who the mysterious sender is.

as Su gets more successful she gets a bunch of rivals of other idols and other musical acts and when i say rivals i dont mean love-live-anime-type-rivals i mean vintage-sports-manga-rivals like these guys are out for BLOOD like i was gonna have the climax of the plot be a lighting fixture being rigged to fall on Su in her biggest performance kjfdsljkW its okay tho she’ll survive she’ll probably just get knocked out and like, have a dramatic scene where in a desperate attempt to keep her awake until the ambulance gets here, Mickey slips up and references something in the locker notes and reveals herself as The Mysterious Lyricist or something

and also they fall in love and kiss and there is a bit of a weird ass YA novel “who will i choose” love triangle for Su between Mickey and the mysterious lyricist which is mostly just Mickey being baffled that Su has not figured out theyre the same person yet. Su may be an idiot but at least she’s Mickey’s idiot
