I made this Irises paintings with a really cheap black ink... and because of this, this piece has an unique texture and color.

How do you paint with ink, you ask!? Well, you can paint with it as you would watercolor to create interesting gradations and texture. For this piece, I first filled the space with water, and then introduce the ink. Some people find this a frustrating method because there is a lot that is out of your control. But that is why I love it! Sorry I forgot to upload this yesterday... but this was the drawing I did on the tenth day of inktober. The word was “Flowing” so I tried to draw/paint a river with ink. Not sure if the river turned out too good, but I like drawing trees with the ink brush...
