Some thoughts on Indigo Park!
Absolutely DELIGHTFUL little thing. It seems both fun to play and watch, which can be quite a feat in mascot horror!
Rambley is a baby and I want to protect him so so so so much. The game would feel so empty without him, and I'm glad it didn't focus on any unecessary "gameplay" gimmicks. Just you walking around the park and listening to this silly little guy is enough;
Lloy's session was the creepiest one, not necessarily thanks to pure horror, but more about anticipation. I loved all of his little apparitions. He's not scary, he just looks like a big and silly creature and I really, REALLY enjoyed his design;
The game's humor is delightful. I think there's a Portal inspiration there on how a semi-omnipotent AI delivers their lines to the non-verbal main character, and I love it;
The ending song!!!!!! It's so cute!
I love how the player character doesn't speak, but their personality is still shown through little animations and in-game text;
As someone who knows a bit about theme park ride accidents I can say that I am VERY excited to see where the devs will take the park setting to!
Overall, a very fun game. Not very creepy, but a delightful experience nonetheless. I'm excited to see more!

Things I've noticed in my own playthrough of Indigo Park:
(spoilers of course)
The gear for the first generator puzzle drops down through a hole in the ceiling once the puzzle is activated. Not sure if there's a way to see who dropped it.
In the corridor after the tunnel collapse, two portraits are torn down. I assume these are Lyoid and Salem
Cameras follow you. Not that surprising on its own BUT one of them is behind the stage where Rambly claims he can't see you!! The camera is active and tracking you, so did Rambly lie or is someone else controlling some of the cameras?
The train being pink is interesting, since that seems to be more Salem's color? But there are other posts and art of Rambly on the train so maybe I'm grasping at straws.
In Lyoid's area, there's a bronze statue of Lyoid among the crates, reminiscent of of the one of Rally and Mr. Indigo at the park entrance, further evidence for the theory that Lyoid either used to be or was planned to be the star
Salem's potion was turning the squirrels evil/dangerous, yet two of the purple squirrels in the background were in love and didn't aggro the player. WILL LOVE WIN??
Also if you haven't looked up secrets vids I recommend doing so if you're interested. There's an appearance from Mollie and one from Finley that the LPers I've watched have missed.

Indigo Park spoliers!
I find it interesting that compared to Mollie, Lloyd doesn't seem to be as aggressive as her. Sure, he lunges out and tries attacking us, but he doesn't at first when we first enter and he notices us. He runs away and seems to hide behind the stage. He only attacks after we enter backstage.
Compared to Mollie, who stalks, sabotages, and chases us bent on killing us, he seems much more tame. Wonder why that is...?

To no one's surprise the theme park nerd whose favourite character is the little purple mascot has fallen in love with the video game about a theme park with a little purple mascot. In addition to watching playthroughs and secrets videos about Indigo Park I also rewatched the character introduction video and noticed a few things: (spoilers for chapter 1 below!)
In Mollie's intro, UniqueGeese says that she's "a loyal bird who would do anything to protect her friends." This may be why she's the first one to face us, but also why she waits to take us down until after we fend off Lloyd. (While we technically don't see her head on until after then, she does show up multiple times on the train ride, including very close behind us in Lloyd's section, and probably could have killed us sooner if she wanted.) We weren't seen as a threat until our critter cuff causes Lloyd to flee in the theatre, and from there she may have decided to target us to try and protect everyone.
In the cast intro video UniqueGeese also speaks about how Mollie's his favourite, which makes it surprising that she's the first to die and makes me think that we're not done with her quite yet (though he did say on a recent livestream that we wouldn't be seeing her for the next few chapters, so this is just my speculation).
In Lloyd's intro, it states that he "struts across the stage with an air of arrogance that could rival any monarch. He's friends with the main cast, but he's really starting to push it." I think this may be why Rambley doesn't like him, and I wouldn't be surprised if we learn that other members of the cast dislike him too.
For some reason, Finley's intro censors that he collects sea shells. While it's understandable that some info aside from his name and image would be censored to preserve some mystery prior to the game's release, it strikes me as odd because it seems like a small and innocuous detail when stated in chapter 1. As well, Salem, a character who we are shown a lot less of and is still shrouded in mystery, has no extra details censored from their intro.
Not lore related but Salem uses they/them pronouns! Just wanted to add it because I've seen people online asking about their gender.
Speaking of Salem, their intro says that they're "quick, cunning, but try to hide it with their 'punk' exterior." Being quick and cunning don't strike me as things to be hidden with a punk exterior, and while I may just be looking deeper where I shouldn't, this leads me to think that Salem may have a softer side we haven't seen yet. This combined with the later note that they "can use countless inventions to get out of a sticky situation" makes me think that they may actually help us later on, despite their actions in the arcade game showcasing them as a villain.
My only note for Rambley is that his intro states he can get "a bit too excited, [but he's] always there for his friends" which fits what we've seen so far. I think he's trustworthy and just happy to see someone back in the park, and that if he does turn on us it will be against his will (though this is my own speculation and not from the intro).
Not from the character intros, but in another video (specifically the one about the knockoff merch), UniqueGeese says that we receive an item from Rambley in chapter 1 that will be used a lot more later on in the game. I think it's safe to say that's the critter cuff (as it's the only item we get from Rambley directly), and I'm curious to see what more it can do – so far, we know it can get us into various areas, fend off attacking mascots with a specific frequency (from Lloyd's encounter), and will eventually be able to resuscitate us (possibly being a checkoff's gun to be used later).

Heyyyyyy- Indigo Park Fandom?
Tumblr media
I made an OC—
Meet Captain Wolfheart! A scurvy sea dog with a nose for treasure! He has a Pirates of the Caribbean type ride within Ocean Odyssey
Relationship Chart and Elaborations under the cut:
Tumblr media
Rambly - Best and only crewmate! Rambly connects to the screens within Wolfheart’s ride and he leads the riders through the adventure. Wolfheart thinks he has the makings of a fantastic pirate
Finley - Neighbors given how Wolfheart is in his area. Wolfheart constantly forgets how harmless Finley is and fears whenever he resurfaces, thinking his ship will capsize. Sometimes he’ll give Finley “offerings” of pretty shells to provide him with calm waters.
Mollie - No pirate is complete without their parrot! Wolfheart will try to coax Mollie on to his shoulder with crackers and sometimes calls her ‘Polly’ instead of her actual name. Mollie finds him entertaining, and he’s always willing to give her a ride to the main land when she crashes on an island.
Lloydford - Sea Shanty pals, not very close- but Wolfheart has appeared in some of Lloyd’s shows….as backup of course.
Salem - They have a very “You want to kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid” dynamic. Whenever there’s treasure, Salem is always there to try and snatch it from Wolfheart- letting him do all the tracking. He claims to hate them, but a part of him has a deep fondness for them. Salem, though they won’t admit it, likes him too- it’s why they mess with him so much.

I dunno why but. I got a dumb theory.
Reason why the park shut down because of Salem the Skunk. I mean, it's really suspicious that they aren't mentioned, but Rambly is glitched when on their section on the train ride, and is broken to pieces.
The minigame shows them corrupting Mollie Macaw to attack Rambly which it happened to us.
Maybe, just maybe. Salem's AI Code is programmed too well, too good on the role that it went to far and beyond and start harming the employees and guests.
And start to experiment on the bodies and animatronics/costumes. As evident on Mollie's fate on the chase scene.
Since Salem is a Witch name, they use potions. So basically 'black magic' on the thing.
It's really suspicious that there are some equipment working like lamp lights monitors are on. If I remember correctly. Rambly is at the front desk for a long time.

INDIGO PARK SPOILERS AHEAD
Calling it now that the reason why Mollie bled and was made out of flesh is the same reason behind the existence of toys in Poppy. Gut feeling is telling me the park originally had cardboard cutouts and animatronics, the owners of the park then must have took the game on a higher step and made the mascots more... Lively. Rambley has higher chances of being the only one without counterparts as he is the main face of the park and a digital helper - but who knows
In Indigo Park the characters got the cardboard cutout on Rambley's ride and the animatronics of Mollie and Finley, both of them are out of service, Mollie more than Finley
Lloyd in the theater was 100% a living creature and so was Mollie in her area, Finley's living counterpart is gonna be horrifying whenever he shows up if he got the same treatment as others
also, whatever happened, it must have been Salem's fault - or at the very least, it started with her
Her area in Rambley's arena? Trashed entirely, her cardboard cut in half, Rambley's dialogue about her is glitched out and jumped entirely and the minigame arcade with her at some point glitches out too and becomes unplayable. Her minigame is about her corrupting Mollie, that speaks for itself. Salem is barely talked about and does not have her own plushie at the gift store. Safe to say she was the first one to go down and be removed from the park and merch. Salem also mentions a "potion", so I do wonder what her deal is besides being the villain...
