Would you want to see the stuff I write for the au about Stede and Izzy being childhood friends? Something about your post about it got its teeth stuck in me and I’m halfway working on a (currently very disjointed) thing for it, it’s getting awfully long, and eventually it may be connected enough to be postable, even if it softens Izzy a bit more than he is canonically, I love the idea, and when I’ve got something together that’s less dialogue chunks and more cohesive story, would you want to see it? No problem if you don’t, I just had thoughts about it and it wouldn’t get out of my head if I didn’t start write it out. It’s bound to be longer than it is so far (it’s about 2k words so far I wasn’t lying when I said it’s got its teeth in my brain), so I figured I could publish it on ao3 as a gift fic for you since it’s based on your idea? Obviously crediting you and all and again, no pressure for you to say yes if you don’t want to, I just had the thought and figured you may enjoy it, since I’m having a fun time writing it out.
