#instead of writing i was fiddling around with tumblr page coding as one does#and i ended up staring at my fic folders on my computer and i think if i don't stick to just 5sos fics i could be ready to start with the#24 days of fic thing by next month which like#on the one hand heck yeah! it's been over a year i'm ready to start putting shit out there again#but on the other hand#i'm not like. super proud of a considerable chunk of the fic i've been hoarding#like they're not awful! it's just that several aren't of the same 'caliber' of my other work#and one of my biggest fic fears is that someone will read one of my not-as-good works and write me off as a mediocre writer#and bc of that won't read any of the fics i'm super proud of#idk guys#i know there's a lot of stuff about like. 'putting stuff out there is plenty don't worry about it being perfect!' which like#on one hand i agree with but on the other that's not why i write#i write to transcribe an idea to the best of my ability and if i know i'm not doing that then what#anyway#that's what's going on with me rn!#sorry i haven't been on this blog much i've been taken over by a new obsession that's been sapping all my brain powet#in related news if anyone listens to dungeons and daddies hmu lol#but yeah#i'm still here! just got my head in other places atm#i'm sure it'll come circling back at some point#the trash talks
