i love handsewing but man this would be 100 times easier if i actually had a machine.
#ive been at this lil sack for two hours and its not even done. if i had a machine it wouldve taken 30 mins. MAX. probably not even.#some things you sew just for the fun of it but this like. has an actual use. i kinda need this done.#im making a lil thingy to put train-check-in-card-thingie in =w=bb#its a pain.#i couldve probably asked to use my grandma's machine but 1) anxiety 2) shes on vacation i think 3) id have to learn how to first.#i think learning would be fairly easy especially since this is just some straight connective borders but :/ ya never know.#also. im not using sewing pins. im holding everything together with prayers and two magnets. its not really that hard luckily but.#i really am just making it 10x harder for myself.#to get the fabric flat i ironed it but i didnt wanna get the ironingboard so i just did it on the floor. which isnt good either probably.#oh yeah also i used a frozen pizza cardboard box as structure. which is still a bit visible through the fabric aswell. just a bit.#in conclusion: this all is a mess and probably the least efficient way but :p we ball.#its cute & yellow <3#yay#anyway i really hope it works through the cardboard bc otherwise this'd all been for nothing.#ig i could take out one of the cardboard sides if i really need to.#its almost finished tho!!! only need to do a lil flap and the button.#these will also be done in incredibly inefficient ways but !!!! OH WELL.#im just glad i dont have to spend 10 bucks for the same thing ig <3 /hj#sillyposting

Winners and losers from Eagles vs. Redskins (and Bears vs. Vikings)
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Washington Redskins on Sunday by shutting them out, 24 to 0. The Eagles then qualified to make the 2019 NFL playoffs with the Minnesota Vikings choking away their season in a loss to the Chicago Bears. Let’s highlight the biggest winners and losers from a glorious conclusion to the 2018 regular season.
WINNERS
DOUG PEDERSON
The Eagles are 5-1 in their last six games and reasonably could’ve been 6-0 if the worst call of the season didn’t go against them in the Cowboys game. The entire team has really stepped things up ever since they got blown out by the Saints in Week 11. It’s time to put some respeck on Dougie P’s name.
NICK FOLES
He Just Wins!™ The Eagles are 3-0 in Foles’ last three starts. During that span, he’s completed 77% of his attempts for 962 yards (8.5 average), six touchdowns, three interceptions, and a 108.4 passer rating. Pretty good! Oh, and Foles also tied the NFL record for most consecutive completions with 25. No big deal. The reigning Super Bowl MVP sure looks poised to lead this team on another run.
NATE SUDFELD
Why is the quarterback conversation focused on Nick Foles and Carson Wentz when STUDFELD finished the game with a perfect passer rating!? Just kidding, but good by Nasty Nate to help close out the game and not mess anything up.
EAGLES FANS
Best fans in the NFL.
WENDELL SMALLWOOD
It was just earlier this month when Smallwood had been (rightfully) phased out of the rotation entirely. Now he’s suddenly looking the Eagles’ most efficient rushing option. I’m more and more convinced nobody truly knows anything about football, and especially me.
JOSH ADAMS
Adams got off to a bit of a slow start but he finished with 50 yards on 11 carries. More impressively, he had three receptions for 33 yards. Adams only had four receptions coming into Sunday’s game. He was never much of a pass catcher at Notre Dame. If he can at least be competent in this regard, it won’t be as predictable that the Eagles are just going to run the ball when he’s in.
ALSHON JEFFERY
As I’ve often said: it feels like the offense goes as Alshon goes. And Alshon sure has been going lately. I really enjoy watching receivers making jump ball catches like Jeffery can. You just can’t guard against it.
NELSON AGHOLOR
Nelly had the first multi-receiving touchdown game of his career on Sunday.
THE EAGLES’ OFFENSIVE LINE
Smallwood, Adams, and Darren Sproles combined for 126 yards on 30 carries (4.2 average). The big guys up front are opening holes in the running game and mostly doing a good job of protecting Foles.
Lane Johnson deserves a special shoutout for keeping Ryan Kerrigan to just three solo tackles, two quarterback hits, two tackles for loss, and one sack in two combined meetings this season. Kerrigan has proven he’s capable of doing MUCH more damage than that. Johnson has successfully prevented him from wrecking games.
JIM SCHWARTZ
Schwartz coached his defense to a shutout despite the fact they’re missing a number of starters, especially in the secondary. I think he deserves to get some head coach interviews.
FLETCHER COX
In just 32 snaps played, Cox has four solo tackles, four tackles for loss, three sacks, and three quarterback hits. Is that good?
MALCOLM JENKINS
He’s one of three NFL players to 100% of his team’s defensive snaps this season. And his postgame message was awesome:
Ay, like we said before the game, we ain’t sneaking in, we kicking the motherf***ing door down! Know what I mean? We in this party. Nobody wanted us in but guess what? They gotta deal with us now. Keep your mind right, keep playing as a family, keep fighting, keep having fun. Family on three!
RASUL DOUGLAS
SUUUUUUUUUUL really set the tone for the game with an interception on the first play from scrimmage. That’s his third pick on the season and fifth of his career.
MICHAEL BENNETT
Three solo tackles, two quarterback hits, two tackles for loss, and one quarterback hit on Sunday night. Easily Howie Roseman’s best offseason pickup, especially when you factor in value. Saying the Eagles gave up a fifth-round pick isn’t even accurate because they also received a seventh in return. The Eagles ultimately used that seventh to trade up to get Jordan Mailata.
BRANDON GRAHAM
Graham’s impact went beyond the stat sheet. He was disruptive all night long. He’s finally looking healthy as the playoffs arrive. That’s a good sign for the Eagles. And a bad one for Tom Brady.
CAMERON JOHNSTON
Johnston had big shoes to fill with Donnie Jones leaving. He’s risen to the challenge and then some.
TRESS WAY
Washington’s punter was probably their best player on Sunday. He had a strong 44.8 average on five attempts and even completed a pass on a fake punt for a first down. His 95.8 passer rating was certainly higher than Josh Johnson’s mark of 37.7.
THE BEARS
They helped the Eagles get in the playoffs! Thank you for not resting your starters, Matt Nagy.
LOSERS
THE BEARS
They have to play the reigning Super Bowl champions now.
KIRK COUSINS
The biggest loser of them all. It’s long been my brand to point out how Kurt Coupons always folds in big games. His record against teams that finish the season with winning records speaks for itself: 4-25. He’s now come up extremely small in two potential play-in games against opponents who didn’t even have anything to gain by winning. The Vikings really gave this guy an unprecedented, fully guaranteed contract worth $84 million over three years. There really isn’t a more perfect quarterback for such a loser team like the Vikings.
THE VIKINGS
The Eagles have been owning the Vikings since 2016.
The Eagles traded Sam Bradford to Minnesota for first-round (Derek Barnett) and fourth-round picks (Josh Sweat).
The Eagles sacked Sammy Sleeves six times in a 21-10 win, which ruined the Vikings’ 5-0 record.
Vikings GM Rick Spielman had to watch as the Eagles won a coin flip to pick No. 14 instead of No. 15 in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Alshon Jeffery took less money to join the Eagles because he wanted to play with Carson Wentz instead of Sam Bradford.
The Eagles embarrassed the Vikings in the 2018 NFC Championship Game, 38-7.
Vikings fans embarrassed themselves by being so salty about the Eagles beating them.
The Eagles won the Super Bowl at the Vikings’ home stadium.
The Eagles lost to the Vikings in Week 5 this season, yes, but that ultimately just set up an epic Week 17 choke job that saw the Vikings miss out on the playoffs entirely.
YOU VIKE THAT!?!
WASHINGTON
Just an absolutely pitiful sports franchise.
SOME CLOWN NAMED MIKE LOMBARDI
He said Pederson would last way less than 51 games. Pederson coached his 51st game on Sunday. The playoff game against the Bears will be No. 52.
EVERY TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS STANDING IN THE EAGLES’ WAY OF REPEATING AS SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS
You’ve been warned.
