I'm just torn between whether I want to flesh out Winterhome into an actual functioning town or play up all the inconsistencies and nonsense until I'm left having to conclude that no one actually even lives there except during the holiday season and everyone rolls in from other towns about two months before Yule and starts getting everything set up.

#lotro #or maybe theyre just like a travelling troupe that goes around and scams people from all over #blink twice if winterhome is being held hostage by travelling brigands who take over towns #and then hold elaborate christmas-themed pageants in them in order to extract money from nearby populace #but seriously how else am i supposed to interpret it with all the like. the 'work site' where people engage in oh so specific 'work'#in a game that is normally so extremely rich in detail weve got people banging on walls with hammers like its skyrim #what are they doing #are they repairing houses? then why is there a specific dedicated site for it?#do they only repair the houses in that one spot?#also where are the roads in and out of this place #is this perchance some kind of trap where you can get in but not get out #in the line of one of those rat traps where they climb into a bucket but cant climb out again?#anyway i think all that has too many implications. so were going the 'fleshing it out' route #also thats way funnier lets be honest
