Found another favorite MLC scene: The He family is so supportive ಡ⁠ ͜⁠ ⁠ʖ⁠ ⁠ಡ

I love how they practically adopted Li Lianhua into their circle on the basis that this person is their Xiaobao's special person.

(Though I think He Xiaohui also just decided that this man is good for her Xiaobao, haha. (see: episode 28, the infamous exposing the LXY fanboy in front of LXY himself) She tried so hard to get them to reconcile!!)

(Minister Fang-Dad is lowkey confused but still supportive anyway)

And then there's the scene of LLH calling Fang Duobing Fang Xiaobao in front of his family щ⁠(⁠゜⁠ロ⁠゜⁠щ⁠)

(I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned before but I'll say it again "Xiaobao" is actually a milk name, not his actual name. It's typically a nickname(?) given at birth before the parents decide on a 'formal name" for the child, so it's typically a familial nickname).

(Also, afterwards, FDB basically guessed that LLH would've gone to the palace himself anyway so).
