i do follow it (despite having mixed feelings abt it) and have manyyy opinions

this is going to be annoying...

i dont want austin butler to win for elvis. he can get nominated bc he was good but i would like to see it go to colin farrell instead (or paul mescal, but idt he will get nommed)

i dont want avatar to be nominated for best picture. sure it made (and cost!) an insane amount of money and is a technical feat but the story is just FINE and the acting is FINE (tho tbf zoe saldana is incred). i think they are already going to nominate top gun, which i guess is valid, but pls not both!

i havent seen living yet but bill nighy deserves everything so pls nominate him even if it looks like hes just being his regular kind, quirky self.

i wish the woman king was getting more buzz (and aftersun of course)

for the acting categories…

i still need to watch tar (i know!) and i Know cate blanchett is insane in it but i hope michelle yeoh gets the dub

im not sure about best supporting actress!! i loved a lottt of performances. jamie lee curtis was Great in everything everywhere. i would love keke palmer to get a nod for nope, but i dont think it will happen. michelle williams was good in mtf

there are a lot of parts i like for best supporting actor. too brendan gleeson and barry keoghan were both SO good. the kid in fabelmans did great. ke huy quan was wonderful. idk! i dont need brad to get nominated for babylon though

decision to leave isnt going to win best foreign film but i want it to so bad!!

i think thats plenty…..
