I got into all my classes ! They’re ones I need for my minor and an associates in Crim. I’m a Psych major but I also wanted to do crim while im here, and i love the professors already anyway.
Since i’ll be physically going to campus i’ll also be able t hang out with friends before or after my classes, and i can’t wait to hang out this weekend bc I finally got my DnD NPCs and basic story down.
In hopes that Richard doesnt read this bc he follows me here:
I have NPCs to help the party so they don’t get their asses kicked.
So far the party consists of:
A Wood Elf Ranger named Willow, Lawful Neutral, Hermit who went into seclusion to find enlightenment and they discovered that the gods are Real and they began to take up sculpture to create idols to appease them.
A Half Orc Rogue name Ghuggian who took up fencing religious idols and replicas to resell for greater profit on the black market to support their family (will have to as player about the family details later)
A Tiefling Paladin named Mantra who grew up exceptionally poor but was helped by another Tiefling (named Capable) and picked themselves off the streets as best they could to join a temple and train to serve teh new god try found through Capable
A Drow Sorcerer named Nym’e who took up being a jester to appease royal persons and towns people both. They’re an escaped slave saved by Capable who just wants to make other people happy.
So, the plot is basically pilfered from Far Cry 5 because I didn’t feel like coming up with something too complex or new, esp. bc this is just supposed to be a short campaign to get the hang of things for a new player.
The Villains consist of:
A Halfling Druid name Unalyse, Neutral Evil. Many once regarded for her heroism, but unfortunately due to her absence, her family and much of her home town was pilfered, killed, and destroyed. Se was found by a Human named Micah who helped rebuild her community and she found her way to religion soon after, following after Micha and pledging her loyalty to him for helping her. She uses her druidic powers to create medicine for those in need, as well as plants that cause hallucinogenic affects so that others can see her god the way she sees him.
A Tiefling Cleric named Amara, Lawful Evil. She grew up religious of course, but of a different god. Under the domain of War, she cast spells and lead armies to destroy, but she grew weary of destruction and constant pain. Micah, a human Fighter, had joined her ranks and he, too, grew weary of constant war. They both found a different god, one who warned them of the dangers of war and apocalypse. They both instead decided to create a community where there would Only be peace. With her Clerical abilities, she makes people confess their sins and repent before her god.
A Tiefling Bard named Capable, Chaotic Good. A former pirate who stole goods with the rest of his crew as well as freeing slaves and giving them chunks of their treasures to rebuild new lives. Capable was not a captain, but he was among the most compassionate of everyone, telling stories to ease hearts and playing games to keep everyone’s minds off the loneliness of the sea. While the whole crew had taken control over a Drow slave trade ship, a Drow named Nym’e was freed and wanted to learn trade arts, to make people happy but on his own terms. So Capable taught him all about theatre and makeup and music. The ship was caught in a storm and beached on a rocky shore. Most of the crew was killed, but they survived together and found several towns where they eventually settled for some time. He found a man named Micah and a woman named Amara who taught him about their newfound religion of peace. He stayed with them for quite some time, and his crew left without him. He eventually helped another Tiefling named Aganon, and taught him all he knew of peace, religion, and bravery. Aganon took up the mantra “I will be brave” and thus named himself Mantra, then leaving to study the way of the Paladin.
A Human Fighter named Micah, Lawful Good. Micah was raised to be brutal, raised to be a fighter for the entertainment of the rich. He was raised to use heavy handed weapons, battle axes and halberd and greatswords to fight for his life. Through his winnings he earned scrap, enough for clothes and food, barely enough to keep shelter. He met a woman who found him charming, even if he was’t the best with his words. In spite of his brutish nature, she loved him and they had a child together. He didn’t want to fight anymore, he wanted to find a different way to make his keep, but he wasn’t allowed to leave. When he tried, his life was threatened, but he didn’t care. He heard the call of a god telling him to use his violence to protect his family. So he did, he killed the stubborn rich who sit up in their balconies that made him and others like him fight. But then that god said he must begin anew to truly be free and reborn. So he killed his wife and newborn child. He left his home city clamoring for new leaders, and he joined a holy crusade to teach peace instead of war to the followers of war gods. It was a frivolous campaign, but with his god channeling through, he was able to appeal to them, that war was destructive, hateful, and that peace was the better way. Peace for all, and to extinguish all forms of violence. So he and a leading Cleric named Amara created a new community from the ashes of violence.
