I know this is a joke ( it’s kinda tasteless tbh) and I hate stan culture esp making these celeb worshipping esque posts about celebrities but………….

why people go hard for her I don’t understand like that time she threw a tonedeaf tantrum naming mostly woc for singing about sex,cheating etc while defending herself saying something along the lines of “ wah people are misinterpreting my advocacy for fragility there has to be a place in feminism for women like me~~” 🙄. and then there’s that cop she dated and dated some record executive calling him her muse. then her saying she thinks feminism is boring. Just too many things about her that give me the ick. Like I think Lorde was right years ago about her music being unhealthy for young girls with the “ shirt tugging desperate don’t leave me stuff”. I just don’t 100% buy these type of analysis where people say she’s not glamorizing abuse etc because I think that on some level women who revel in this whole aesthetic and type of fragile femininity do, to a certain extent, romanticize their own helplessness even if they’re self aware. Self awareness doesn’t negate the fact that it does have an effect of young girls whom are drawn to the aesthetics and get attached to it. Idk but I 100% think it’s so much more effective and good for young women’s mental health to have this type of invincible “screw all men I don’t need them” attitude then whatever Lana puts out. I usually h8 the phrase “ white fragility” but her whole schtick doesn’t sit right with me and I can’t help but see her as an idk tradwife soft feminimity person who’d run those weird Lolita daddy blogs on here. Or something adjacent to that. I do understand the vulnerability to a certain extent but at the same time I’m impatient. Maybe it’s because of my personality but I can’t stand that “ woe is me” childlike type of mentality some women self obsess with it’s so stuffy. Like plz free ur self.
