Every time i see someone talk about min-maxing in dnd from a "min-maxers hate teamwork/roleplay/etc" perspective I lose 5 years off my lifespan. Enjoying both min-maxing and roleplaying is not uncommon OR impossible and even if a min-maxer does hate to roleplay that's fine. Maybe they arent good for your table, but that doesn't mean they're a terrible player. Stop being a dick to people for not playing the game the exact same way as you.
