grahhh i love ur art so much. when u paint how do u integrate ur lineart/sketch if at all? or do you paint from scratch ??

Thank you! I almost always discard the sketch immediately after blocking in the colors and/or major shadow-shapes on a layer underneath (basically just recreating the shape of the sketch in shadow/color, just to have a blobby base to build on top of).

I either delete it or, more usually, merge everything on one layer and paint over it.

#if i'm truly lazy I'll just skip the sketch and block in the colors directly #sometimes I leave some of the sketch lines for definition or texture but usually my paintover is so extensive that it disappears completely #regarding lineart I usually don't do it. but if i do i try to paint a little bit over it just to integrate it with the color better #text
