actually soup is the perfect struggle meal tbh. like egg drop soup can be made with bouillon, cornstarch, water, a couple of eggs, and like 2 "specialized" groceries and with a minimal amount of those ingredients you could make like a whole gallon of soup it's epic

#I haven't actually tried this but I think that if you got shredded rotisserie chicken and lightly tossed it in like 1/2 tsp of sesame oil #and then added it at the very end of cooking it would be rlly good #because I always add a bit of sesame oil at the end so using the chicken as a vessel for it...#thinking thoughts I wish I had more energy to test recipes n stuff #but I used to make this and/or hong kong fried noodles as a late night snack when my roommate would stay up #'twas fun I miss cooking for them #lyss's life #if anyone cares woksoflife and madewithlau recipes are killer for chinese food #especially since my dad did nawt pay attention to the recipes when my grandparents had their restaurant and is thus useless for this stuff #I've used their stuff to cook for like 5 years it's really good :]
