Okay. Reiterating and reorganizing my thoughts.

I do ship Barbie and Ken, because I thought they were cute and had great chemistry.

After some more pondering, I also understand why they broke up. I see why it had to happen after everything that Ken did and all that Barbie went through.

I think that, for the movie Greta wanted to make and the story she wanted to tell (specifically, the direction she took Ken's character arc) the breakup made the most sense.

But I also think that, had this movie been different, more focused on a fun time than on making a statement, Barbie and Ken would've, could've, and should've been endgame.

Additionally, I think if they ever make a sequel, it can still grant us that good romance after they both go through some more self-discovery.
