He doesn’t think before he flings the door open (thankfully, it opens towards him) and is met with a boy shaking down to his core, face wet with tears and the rain pouring outside. Phil gapes but realizes that there’s a kid whose fingers are turning blue, and he’s briefly reminded of when he first found the twins.

Hypothetical: Dream SMP whole server Manhunt Special because I really want to see it happen because Ranboo suggested it (but it was a like 30v1 against Dream lol) but I want it to be balanced

Runners: Dream and Tommy are the only set ones. Anyone else is free game to be a runner so idk who else, but at least Tommy and Dream. Dream because he’s the most experienced Runner out of anyone on the SMP to my limited knowledge. Tommy because I think everyone really wants to see these two team up, and Tommy already did a Manhunt on stream once, against Sapnap and lost I’m pretty sure. Or the server crashed lol. But generally a proper team up with Tommy and Dream would be fun to watch. Their banter could range wildly from chaotic fun to pro™ gamer™

Hunters: Everyone else on the SMP except for those who don’t want to participate (which is totally valid!) or those who are Runners

Under the cut is me rambling about certain people being additional teammates to the Runners

Techno as a Runner would be an interesting team up with just him, Tommy, and Dream alone (obviously there would be more than just 3 maybe, the server has a lot of people and I can’t do math). Banter and skill wise it would be entertaining. Because it’s two Actually Older Brothers interacting with Chaos Child. Plus, the second Techno and Dream turn around to make the Hunters the Hunted will be a moment that will make my brain bounce around in my skull in excitement and laughter because you know some of their mics are going to cut out from their screaming. Let’s just hope that when they go after the Hunters, it doesn’t turn out to be another Battle of The Lake/Tower, where Tommy just dies instantly lol

Phil would also be interesting, since (to my limited knowledge) a cautious player and a powerful fighter. Meanwhile Tommy is a bit more reckless and less skilled, while Dream is just full on reckless and goes after the hunters with a bit too much reckless abandon. Banter wise would be interesting because it’s such a wide spectrum in terms of ages. There’s Phil, who’s actually an adult and shit. There’s Dream who is technically an adult, but he’s 21. That’s not as adult as most people think. I would know, because I have siblings who are older than him that don’t act as adult as you’d think. Then there’s Tommy, who’s 16. So the conversation can range wildly. Especially if we take into account that this might not be just 2-3 Runners, so like 4+ish. Depending on the age of that person/those people, the chaos can range even more. Leaning more towards Extra Chaos.

Hbomb, to my limited knowledge (shut up I don’t know much about anything), would also be interesting. He’s skilled, smart, and an amazing team player. If anyone can wrangle in whatever team he’s given, it’s him. Banter wise, depending on if they switch to separate VCs for the Hunters & Hunters (or maybe some level of proximity chat? Like if you’re in a ~10 block radius it sounds normal [as if Proximity Chat isn’t off] but every ~10 or so blocks it fades), we might hear Dream’s thought process be explain before he executes a big IQ play. We might also learn some of the other rules of Manhunt

Note: When I say banter wise, I mean how interesting will the conversations and interactions this person will have with at least Tommy & Dream. It’s all in how I think their group chemistry would work. Sorry for any confusion!

Tubbo would be fun, interesting, and great. We know his chemistry with both Dream and Tommy to be great. He’s smart and capable, he would be a lethal runner because it’s not as expected as Dream. Banter and skill wise he would be a great runner, because he’s worked with both of them on a team before and also has the Big Brain™ to come up with some plans to throw the hunters off.

Any of the previous hunters would be interesting, because now they’re on the other side of the coin but equipped with the knowledge on how the hunters think. Personal preference leans to Ant because boy needs to shine more because I keep missing streams and don’t have the energy to ever watch anyone’s VODs. Sapnap has the PVP skill to be a powerful force for the Runners, while George would be somewhat cautious but lethal Runner. Bad has often had more of a team approach, which works perfectly in this setting as much as if does if he was in the Hunter’s team. Ant has been this sort of wild trump card for the Hunters, so he would be unpredictable but capable. He can act as team player and stay with the group or run off on his own while the others deal with the Hunters

(I’m gonna assume there’s going to be a rule on how the Runners should roughly stick together)

Fundy would be a wildcard as a Runner, because he does have chemistry with the both confirmed Runners. With his skill and capability making him a sort of wildcard the Hunters can’t account for. Sure, that applies to all of the Runners except Dream, but Hbomb did point out during his appearance on the Noxcrew MCC 10 Stream that Fundy plays his hard custom difficulties, so he’s good at the game. Not sure how true that is but Fundy is capable

just to preface, i don’t really like irl shipping in general. it’s kind of weird to me, and in the fandom that i came from (the jse/markiplier community), irl shipping basically ruined mark and jack’s friendship (and i think it’s ruined another friendship within that community, which is wonderful /s).
