Trouble's Parents
So Trouble's mother was like, your typical elven bard, life of the party and always playing her songs, she had like an exploration team or something, probably 4-5 people, you know, the usual, I'm not sure who would be on it but I know that there would be at least one other magic user, probably a warlock or wizard, and then probably a cleric, rogue/ranger and a fighter or something. A mostly rounded team of people. Basically these guys are your typical dnd campaign characters, if this story was a dnd game, these would be the people in it, not Trouble n all. Trouble comes after hence why she's allowed to be op because technically the game is over. So they're out on their own journey, whatevers, they eventually come across a huge ass blue dragon, and natrually being a bard Trouble's Mother decided to seduce the dragon. Game wise this is the point that the player rolled a nat 20 and was like “shit I just seduced a huge blue dragon okay-”. So they don't fight the dragon and instead Trouble's Mother spots it constantly following them, and fighting off other dragons and monsters that tried to attack the group. Eventually they finish their quests and go their seperate ways, and Trouble's Mother kinda just refinds this dragon and they get to know each other.
So this dragon turns out to be a nice lady, and so Trouble's Mother decides to just date this dragon because why not. After a few years they decide “hey why not have a kid we can make a kid out of magic it doesn't matter that you're a dragon and I'm not we can do this” so uh. That happens.
Tfw ur parents are lesbians and one of them is a dragon. I think Trouble has the best parents but that's just me.
Trouble Happening
So Trouble happened. Born under a different name of course. Her parents were dissapointed at first as they were expecting Trouble to come out probably looking badass- you have a [whatever type of elf Trouble's mother is like a sun or moon elf or something] and a storm dragon make a kid and you expect the bab to look great but no, Trouble just came out looking like a regular human. But after a couple of minutes of dissapointment they got over it and started looking after this tiny child because they're good parents.
(It turns out the reason Trouble came out human was because the other magic user on the team, aka the warlock or wizard, essentially cursed Trouble's mother to have all her children be born as humans, as Trouble's mother's family pretty much would have disowned her for “reducing herself to the low of sleeping with a human”, or something and this was a punishment for something the mother did idk really just. Your usual curse.)
Trouble's Magic
So as Trouble grows up her mothers start to teach her magic, as they both had a grasp over a variety of magic types and could teach her the basics without her needing to go to wizard school or make a pact with some demon or something. So Trouble spent a few years with her parents learning magic, she was proving to be good at the domestic kinds, as her parents didn't want to teach her how to fight just yet.
Please at this point imagine a bard and a HUGE LESBIAN dragon trying to teach a 12 year old how to use magic to do everything. Please.
How “Trouble” Came To Be
So as Trouble hit her teenage years, she started to learn other types of magic without her parents knowledge. As a result, she kinda accidently went on the path of becoming a warlock, and straight away started to see changes in herself. She found herself developing thick scally masses on her hands, and hid them under gloves. She noticed sharp teeth, claws, she felt like she was turning into a monster. When she got to the point that she couldn't hide the changes any longer, Trouble ran away and put on a tiefling disguise using a mix of her old magic and new magic, and picked up the name Trouble as she ran. She spent years trying to perfect this form, so that nobody knew of the monster underneath her tiefling disguise. Her parents searched for her but could never find her.
Trouble eventually perfected the form, and reentered her hometown as Trouble the tiefling, rather than as herself. She wears a tag around her neck with her true name, should she ever get too far into the tiefling form that she forgot it, she could look at it and remember.
Trouble's Ending
Eventually, Trouble's journey see's her coming to terms that she's not a monster, that she's a good person and that she shouldn't be ashamed that she experimented with dark magic, or that she kinda became a dissapointment to her parents. Once she comes to terms with this, and sorta becomes at peace with herself, she removes her tiefling disguise to see that she's not the monster she thought she was, that she's looking more like what her parents expected her to look like. Trouble realises that all along she was her own patron, kinda, and needed to find herself. And as a result, she'd slowly start to look more like herself had the curse not been there, as warlocks kinda start to go weird anyways but Trouble has it even weirder. So Trouble keeps the name Trouble as a reminder of her journey, and reunites with her parents and is happy.
Or something this is all brainstormin cos im
