“I never doubt you, Dutch,” and to an extent, that was a true statement from a man who usually operated outside the realm of honesty. He greatly respected who he knew Dutch to be. The man was intelligent and clever. But Josiah was feeling a bit uneasy. There were things he had heard in the saloons. Plans to go after Dutch, after Arthur, Hosea - anyone in camp with a bounty. Some of the information the bounty hunters had were simply false - rumors that had been spread that only served to protect the Van der Linde gang due to their falsity. However, there had been some rumors that were true. Some things that could be used against them. 

Trelawny had done what he could to take those rumors and make them useless. Slipping in details and doubt to make it so they couldn’t be used against his companions in the gang. But there was only so much he could do before turning suspicion on himself. As much as he enjoyed the company of those in the Van der Linde gang, as much as he respected Mr. Van der Linde here, he still wished to keep their connection as mum as possible. 

“But I still worry about you, all of you, you know. I hear a lot of talk just being out and about. You’re worth a lot of money to a lot of people. Please, be careful.” 

SEMI-HIATUS NOTICE.

     My muse has been very fickle for a hot minute now and at this point, I only feel like I’m forcing myself to be here and try to get something done, but in the end, those efforts ( which are way more exhausting than they should be ) are simply fruitless.

     To be really honest, for whatever reason that I can’t precisely put my finger on, being on this blog started hitting me with waves of discomfort, so it must be high time for me to step back for a little and take a break. I don’t know how long that will take, but probably not more than two weeks. Perhaps in the meantime, I’ll finally decide what direction I want to push that blog in, so it’s more of a safe haven for me again.

     HEY,  ALL  YOU  COOL  CLOWNS  &  JESTERS,  WELCOME  TO  THE  CIRCUS — I’m Roy ( transmasc nonbinary, he / they, 21+, GMT+2 ) and this is an independent, canon-divergent and highly private blog for the Joker of DC Comics; you may also know me from my old blog theclownprnc. I pull most of my inspiration from the comics and also the Arkham games. My portrayal has nothing to do with any of the cinematic versions. Crossover-friendly; also featuring verses such as: Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption, The Last Of Us, Peaky Blinders and more.

     Things I’d like you to tag, both IC and OOC content: pregnancy, eating disorders, gender dysphoria, body dysmorphia, animal abuse, religion ( mostly the discourse revolving around it, especially christianity-related, also bible verses and the like; I don’t mind IC stuff ).      One more request — while alcohol alone doesn’t necessarily trigger me, if we’re chatting OOC, please do not message me when you’re under influence ( same goes for other substances; hit that blunt, but don’t hit me up ).
