Ok so finished my first playthru of phantom liberty

And overall id say it was a great DLC, took me around 40+ hours to actually finish and the last few ones were a bit rushed because i /needed/ to know how it ends

I love the brand of hopelessness and cynicism that only cp can bring

Spoilers below

It was more than understood that whatever you do, youre getting fucked

So it was a bit of relief when Songbird was like yea so... only one cure for me u can fuck right off

And man i was with her all the way but i really didnt want to kill Reed

Mans so hot ):

Anyway my reasoning was not lore friendly but rather content hungry friendly

Cause like she said, if you send her off shes getting cured ur getting fuck all so thats where it ends

But if u "betray" her, more content maybe?

Ok so say someone enlists your help under false premises

Then repeatedly endangers your life

And uses you

Repeatedly assuring you "oh this time im fr"

And then they are put in a vulnerable position and you can actually screw them over for once

Would you say that if you did you "betrayed" them?

I mean quite frankly no its not even mean it would be p stupid to just sit there and take it (again)

Weird how the game sees it as you selling your integrity like the accepted alternative is you go with it till the end

Even tho youve been fucked

Anyway

Very happy with the fact that we get another brand new ending

Its like the arasaka ending but lite

Like at least u dont get made into a chip u know

Like the fia heals u nukes johnny and then its been two years of coma and also u cant use fuck i forgot how they call implants

Anyway none of that for you anymore

N thats sososo sad because apparently there's nothing u can do without them implants

So hacking is definitely out of the question

No more double jumps

No more fancy eyes and smart weapons (which imo are like cheating anyway)

But your knowledge? Muscle memory?

I mean stupid of this bitch to go out first thing

But venom could get swole so whats stopping her??

I'm not saying that you can be back to super soldier specs but you can definitely be less pathetic :)

Anyway i think its all going to have to be bittersweet

Like watching someone u knew well becoming a drunk beggar, trying to swindle u out of ur money

Some skills are definitely unrelated to cybernetic implants tho so um

Anyway its quite funny to me that i ended up missing johnny more than she did

I want to go with it take Songbird to the shuttle let her escape

Im sure its not going to be much more content but its alright, i would have done it immediately if i knew that the game would eat my saves ): now i started dogtown again but LUCKILY i have a save post ending so i i just repurposed that one

And funny thing this is a save when i had the game modded to the teeth and i forgot i romanced panam (best girl btw) and apparently that carried over ? Lol nice
