Op Characters Love Languages Pt.2 <3

Featuring: Mihawk, Iceburg, Marco, Shanks

Content: headcanons, fluff, GN! Reader

Pt. 1

Mihawk:

Acts of service, words of affirmation and slight physical touch

This man goes over the moon for you

He loves you with his whole heart so of course he will

He'll cook for the most part (malewife fr) or help you if you've already started

He likes to whisper sweet nothings to you when you guys are just enjoying each other's company. Or he'll just tell you romantic things out of left field. You never see it coming.

He likes holding you honestly. It's never over the top with his physical touch though, in public at least. The most PDA he gives in public is holding your hand or having an arm wrapped around your waist.

But when you guys are away from prying eyes, he actively holds you in his arms and presses small kisses to your neck.

His love languages go both ways with giving and receiving honestly.

Wrap your arms around him and kiss him softly, and congratulations. You've made the world's greatest swordsman melt into your arms.

For the most part, he's a pretty stoic man, but you get him so smile every time you tell or show him that you love him.

Deep down, he's honestly a big softie <3 (I'm so down bad for this goth man, Dracule Mihawk my beloved)

Iceburg:

Quality time and physical touch

This man is honestly the biggest lovebug there is in Water7 tbh

He gets so happy anytime he sees you (and you know for a fact he's brushing his responsibilities as mayor to the side to spend time with you)

He loves having an arm wrapped around your waist when you two stroll through the city

He'll make sure that you're safe whenever you guys visit the shipyard

And while he would absolutely adore to constantly brush off his work so he could spend time with you, he is the mayor. He'll just want you to hang out with him while he does some paperwork.

If it's late at night and he's still lost in his work, simply just come up behind him and drap your arms over his shoulders, he will instantly fall into your touch.

He gets so stressed and tense sometimes. Please remind him to take a break</3

Pepper his head and face with kisses.

Please just give him endless affection. He'll grumble about you trying to distract him, but there's no bite to it.

Remind him that you love him every once in a while. It's not that he forgets. He just likes to hear it sometimes.

Marco:

Another physical touch and quality time guy

Bro is quite literally always by your side, he loves you so much

He always has his hands on you, too. Look away for one second, and there is the bird man with an arm around your waist

Clingy mf <3

You're constantly getting head kisses from his man

Honestly, he just likes kissing you. He doesn't even care if the crew is around

Spend time with him. He doesn't really care what he's doing. He likes having you by his side

He'll most definitely ask you to chill with him while he's patching Ace up from one of his ADHD ideas.

Or just take a nap with our beloved pineapple head <3

Either way, Marco is very obvious with his love languages

Please hold the bird man in your arms while he sleeps. He will he extremely happy

You'll get a sweet kiss when he wakes up

Shanks:

Okay say it with me; physical touch

This mf seriously can't keep his hands to himself

And he has absolutely no shame about it either

You can casually be chatting with some of the crew, and he will come up out of nowhere and pull you against him

He does not care that you were mid conversation with Benn. He wanted attention then and there.

Good luck trying to pull away from him. Man may only have one arm, but that grip is like steel

You're stuck <3

He'll see the pout on your face and immediately kiss and tease you

"Awe babe come on, I'm not doing anything!"

Cheeky motherfucker

He'll be ecstatic if you return the same energy

Run up and give him a big hug. He'll instantly return it

He will kiss your face all over and hold you tightly in his arm

He is another lovebug who isn't afraid to show it

He loves you so much and he is dramatic af about it

And oh boy Vegapunk looks more and more like a fool. And I hate nothing more people who pretend to wish to help humans without thinking things through, the consequences in the future and for their own selfish agenda.

Saint Saturn calling Akainu a fool just cements the fact that the Marines are being used by the World Government as much as slaves are used by Celestial dragons

Well thank you , you "genius" Vegapunk...genius my artistic backside 🙄.

So Vegapunk just threw the world into anarchy and chaos, you think civilians will not go into panic mode now, wrong. Essentially a worldwide "stampede" and battle for survival will happen, civilians going nuts and rogue as criminals, utter chaos is about to blow.

Vegapunk hasn't thought that through really what this "truth" will cause in people emotionally and that it will freak people out.

Also I thought islands float so how do they sink into the ocean, how much water does it need? Is it a slow process? Or is over night a giant rogue wave swallowing every island? Please provide context Vegapunk.

Also does it matter? NO! Looking back at Water7 Iceburg is working on how to make the island of water7 float like a ship... apply this to all island around the globe problem solved.

Plus it's time the Marines split from the world government, coup d'état!!!

Don't be offended is my opinion I might be very wrong... at least it would make for a good one piece fan fiction...JUST MY THOUGHTS

I solved the one piece!!!!! First let me unmask the Gorosei and world government and Celestial dragons...they want to be the only one human race in existence, civilians don't matter to them and neither do the Marines which they call insects...

The 3 ancient weapons are Pluton (giant battleship), poseidon Shirahoshi able to control sea Kings and Uranus.

I tell you Uranus is the one piece its in Laughtale, and it is a portal into another dimension and therefore another earth.

Hear me out... people during the void century found out the world sinks in the ocean so they researched and developed the Pluton as a battleship but also doubles down as Noahs ark saving people from around the world (I know noahs ark was in the fishman island arc, I consider that a prototype), they know of a mermaid princess able to control sea Kings will be born, they need the sea Kings to pull Pluton and Uranus is a device in Laughtale to open a portal to another earth saving everyone.

Except the Gorosei try to make sure that only Celestial dragons and some slaves reach the new earth...

thoughts on water7 SO FAR:

usopp is so good. goddamn. he was already in my top 3 of the straw hats, but now even moreso (although i'm reluctant to give away the #1 and #2 spots held by chopper and robin)

the fight between luffy and usopp was so goddamn sick because, first of all i totally feel for usopp's position in the crew and i really sympathise with how he's feeling about himself, his friends, and the merry. watching him basically go insane over this and seeing the merry crash into the ocean was really heartbreaking and i did cry a little. but SECOND OF ALL : IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE USOPP ROCKED SOMEONE'S SHIT IN SOME FORM he spent so much of skypiea and long ring long land being very cowardly (no complaints about that, it's part of why i love him) but it's just so, so satisfying to see just how capable and strong usopp has gotten. he didn't win the fight because of course he didn't, but he showed just how goddamn smart he can be, and how genuinely formidable his goofiness is....

THAT SHIT HURTED SO BAD THOUGH

this arc overall has been such a treat as a Nico Robin and Usopp Fan. so much development for these two and so many great moments!! i've also been really enjoying sanji and chopper's roles in this arc so far, especially sanji on the train. his fight with that mad chef scientist dude was fuckin weird though. it gave me filler vibes (aside from the cool knife stuff)

i really really liked kaku when he first got introduced, and when i found out he was a member of CP9 i was actually pretty upset. i wanted to be able to root for him throughout because i found him delightful but Alas

i'm really looking forward to whenever chopper might get his next big moment. he's been great during this arc so far... i want to see him do some great stuff in a fight again sometime soon, the moment with luffy and zoro breaking through that wave had me so excited and made me realise which character's haven't had huge moments like that in a bit...

and oh boy. FRANKY. i REALLY REALLY LIKE FRANKY. as soon as he started doing those poses i knew he was a fave. his backstory with iceburg was so interesting and added so much context to his character; he reminds me of a more exaggerated/extreme version of Kid Naruto in his childhood. his concept is so cool, when i found out he was fuelled by soda i laughed out loud.

i also really like how franky and usopp interact. there's something about having two boastful/obscenely proud characters who like, are also really baffled by each other at times and argue, that's just really funny and endearing. it might be one of my favourite dynamics in the whole story if it's expanded on more!

and of course.... sogeking

Or if you don’t want to break down every single arc, maybe just a collection of your faves off the top of your head. (I’m still struggling with reading through OP and having characters to look forward to might help me focus)

Theres A LOT OF ARCS.... I’ll do my favs! UNDER THE CUT!!!

The Orange Town to Arlong- You got (most of) the Strawhats as favs. Nami especially is a stand out but I think Usopp is underrated. I also loved Gin in Baratie... obviously.

Alabasta is terrific. Vivi is great... especially later on and at least for me... I miss her. Shes a good lass. Crocodile is introd here hes great. Daz. Robin!!! Robin especially. Also Ace I think if youre into that kinda thing.

Some people arent a fan of Skypiea but those people are buttholes. So. Stand out favs are Calgara and Norland and not Southbird. How dare Oda make me care so very much for characters who are ancient.

Water 7/Enies Lobby is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ARC. So many good characters!!! Iceburg, Paulie, Lucci, Kaku! You get Franky and Robins backstory which brings with it some heavy and beautiful stuff... Oda didnt have to go so hard but... HEY.

Thriller Bark also comes with a shit tone of fun characters. Brook is the stand out... also just CHOICE Zoro action.

Sabaody starts off fun... and then just spirals into insanity! Lotta great characters, some returning good bois. Kizaru is my stand out but you also get the Supernova and info on a bunch of stuff.

Impel Down is also great... Amazon Lily before that you also get some great new characters but Impel Down is A RIOT. More returning good bois and also IVA-CHAN AND HIS MERRY BAND OF MISFITS.

Marineford is HIGH KEY everything. Marcos the Phoenix my fav introd BUT WHAT A LINEUP!!!! And what an arc. Only Water7 outdoes it for me probably.

People tend not to like Fishman Island either but I rather enjoyed it... or I rather enjoyed the flashbacks... its sort of like Skypeia in that way... AND YET OPPOSITE!!! Its a toss up... I love Shyarly and Den but Queen Otohime and Fisher Tiger and Koala... and all that good shit is more important.

I didnt like the Dressrosa saga... I dont like Law... You might hes really popular. But Doflamingos gang is pretty swell. You at least cant go wrong with Monet!

Zou gets things back on track for me! A new bunch of characters introd. Obviously Carrot is a stand out but my fav is Nekomamushi!!

Whole Cake is mostly great. Depending how you feel about Sanji you may not care for his part in it... I didnt but I also despise Sanji. But Katakuri is TOP NOTCH. Really everything EXCEPT Sanji is great in Whole Cake. Big Mom? Amazing as well.
