Omg, I actually did it! I finally joined a queer dating/friendship app!!! EEEEEEK!!! I'm sooooo nervous!!! I literally have almost no queer friends IRL so I don't have anyone to get excited with me!! 🥳
One of my New Year's resolutions for 2024 was to put myself out in the world more and try my best to be more social, meet new friends (as well as potentially find a partner), and explore all my passions, hobbies, and interests with like-minded people.
As a very shy bisexual woman, it's so hard to meet other queer people, especially when you live in a more conservative area. So when I joined a queer dating/friendship app I was was SO surprised to see how many other lesbian/bi women were located near me.
Also, for some reason I've always had this super toxic thought in my head that queer women wouldn't be attracted to me because of the fact that I'm S U P ER femme/girly and I think I look very 'straight' to the average person assessing me. Trust me when I say I was genuinely SHOCKED at the matches I was getting like??? Why did I think such terrible things about myself and my sexuality? I feel really silly for thinking that and I've realized that I have a lot of inner work to do regarding my sexuality and self-worth.
This is honestly such a new, exciting experience for me and was so healing for my mind and mental health to just be able to communicate and talk with other queer women. I know this isn't writing related but it's really not something I can share with other people or on my other social media (yet) so I knew I had to make this post bc I'm just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!
It honestly makes me wanna cry a little. It's a very emotional feeling and also feels so freeing to just BE MYSELF and not have to hide my queerness or be afraid that someone is going to find out I'm bisexual and act really awful/disgusted towards me, you know?
Regardless of whether I find a partner or make new friends and whatnot, I'm super proud of myself that I'm not denying this part of myself anymore. I'm exploring my sexuality with people who know what it's like to be queer in this crazy world we live in. It's a really awesome feeling. 💕💕💕💕

Heya! My name's Harley, and my pronouns are they/them :)
I've been reading and writing whump for a long time now, but have lingered in the shadows for too long! I've finally had some inspiration and motivation to try posting some of my stuff, and fingers crossed I can keep up the momentum and update regularly if people like it <3
Before I even knew it was a thing, I've been working on a BBU-adjecent universe with dozens of characters. It's set in a modern fantasy world, where there are multiple races such as demonborn, werewolfs, dragonfolk, and so on living alongside humans in present day. Unfortunately in one country in particular, humans are seen as no more than slaves and cattle, and they have no legal rights or protection from the very hungry world around them >:)
I will do my best to tag all of my work accurately and reliably, but if I ever miss anything please just let me know and I'll fix it asap! As a general coverall warning, though, there will be a significant amount of violence, non/dubcon, and other 18+ nsfw content. I'll put a full list of things you can expect below the cut! I'd love to take prompts and requests, of any kind!

Teruki blinks at him, and then he’s chuckling again and bowing his head down so he only sees the beginnings of brown roots coming in. When he lifts his head again his eyes are wet, but the pinks in his aura are soaking into his soul so much that he finds it really hard to be alarmed in the trance of it.
“Please don’t apologize,” Teruki whispers, blinking away the shine that reflects the slit of sun from the window. His voice wobbles and hitches at the end, and Shigeo shifts, widens his eyes a little, but then his partner is moving.
He leans over Shigeo’s chest, arches over the cracks that seep with energy carefully. Both of his hands are suddenly around his face and Teruki’s clamping his eyes shut and pressing their foreheads together, nose to nose, soul to soul. His hair tickles Shigeo’s jaw and his knee digs into his thigh, but it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t mind.
The coral hues sing; the golds roar.
“Please don’t. Please don’t do that to me,” his partner teeters, and the watermelon seeping into his skin is now tainted with harsher reds, deeper magentas. He can tell Teruki is trying so hard to keep it light, to keep it gentle and comforting for him—controlling an aura when emotions are high is one of the hardest things in the world.
And yet he’s holding his partner, who is crackling apart at the seems in every sense of the word, and all that seeps from him is a little fear that get snuffed out instantly upon exit.

friends ! we need to talk about the play
we know that it's supposed to be canon. we know that it "might hold the key to the end" of the show. we know it features several of the adult st characters in their high school years. and we know there will be heavy focus on henry creel. currently, performances are only planned for the phoenix theatre in london -- starting november 17th. not everyone will have the means or opportunity to see the play in person. i know i won't. as of now, there don't seem to be any plans for performances outside of london, or any plans for a digital release or streaming or anything
hopefully, that will change in the future. i assume the super important stuff will be touched on within the final season of the actual show, but making something with canon tie-ins so exclusive still feels wrong to me. that said, fans will be seeing this next month. there will be spoilers available, pretty immediately i imagine. i will probably be talking about the play and these spoilers and what i think it could mean for the show. i love spoilers. i love content. i can't help myself
anything i post will likely be under a read more. if you are avoiding spoilers or you don't care about the play, i will tag everything i post (or reblog) with the first shadow and the first shadow spoilers. if i'm trying to speculate on what it could mean for s5 (or posting about s5 in general), i will tag with s5 and st5 spoilers. i also tag everything potentially spoiler-y with the general spoilers tag. please blacklist or filter out any one of those to avoid such content !
