find a foreign tv show with a promising bromance
enter a fandom where 99% of the people are from another country
learn the language to engage with the fandom and the original content

#yes it's about#suburra#tatort saarbrücken#i learned italian in 2021#now i'm back with german#i won't go back to japanese for sure#and english is a background task#please let me find a dutch hyperfixation in 2 years so i can learn the language of the country i live in#instead of diving head first in another one#i'm having the hardest time learning dutch because i can't find a way to care...#also i've always loved german so there's a logic there#if you're curious i'm using busuu to learn languages#it's been working really well for me#i reached a b2 level in italian in around 6 months#with absolutely no knowledge of the language#let's see how i revive my german from my school years
