The ending of HOTD….I’m sorry but that just pissed me off. Writers were trying to go for a girlboss moment when Rhaenys could have just killed all the Greens and stopped the war before it started?!? Obviously she can’t do that because then there is no show but this just doesn’t feel in line with her character?! She knows the Greens planned to kill her if she didn’t bend the knee to Aegon and she obviously didn’t want too? she herself is a threat to them too? Idk this scene just seemed dumb. She also knows her granddaughters are now bound to Rhaenyra’s claim to the throne through her marriage to their father and their betrothals to Rhaenyra’s sons. It just feels so weird that she would just have a stand-off and then fly away. I wish they hadn’t even done this scene now 😩

Also was the brothel lady trying to imply that Aegon liked men? Because when they went to the child fighting pit then I got scared that they were going to imply he was a p*do 😭 I couldn’t figure out what exactly they were doing there

Listen if Daemon and Rhaenyra told her about Laenor - I bet it would have been a different outcome. I can see why she couldn't do it, seeing Alicent stand in front of her son protectively and Rhaenys remembering how she lost her own son by fire in a way. There is no way she could see the future and how the worse of the worse is going to happen now. Idk, I wasnt disappointed by the scene. It was a cool introduction to Meleys. RIP to the smallfolk that got hurt 🤧

I didn't have subtitles on, so I don't know exactly what she was implying but I dont think it was that he prefers men more like her establishment wasn't to his liking 😳

I was most looking forward to the preview of ep 10 and let me tell you I got so many different feels. I'm not ready at all 😭😭
