i think ppl should be aware there’s a big separation of niches within the fandom and certain discourse may just apply within the person’s own space even if it also happens in your own niche. (i know this is a bit vague bc i don’t wanna involve other people who don’t want any more problems their way it’s just my personal observation. further details in tags)

#disk horse #i don’t want to make it seem like non west creators are in a different world than other hetalia fans #there’s a lot of discourse around historical hetalia and sometimes i feel like people misunderstand #that its mostly a thing within non west centric creators bc the implications can be really harmful #this is not to say the same can’t be said for european and other western historical hetalia #i understand my mutuals and other poc fans being really cautious at some takes bc #bc of the many instances of fandom racism and ignorance #it’s completely justified #since everyone is usually civil #but like i think like vague posts leaving their niche causes misunderstandings i suppose #reblogs turned off #any concerns please talk to me
