call me basic but bg3 has consumed my life. like today is sunday and all i did was play it with like. breaks for meals and maybe an hour working on an unrelated cosplay prop. so allow me to infodump to you all instead of making anybody irl listen to it

i’m just getting into act 2 and i have to say. something so great about the game is the villains. act 1 doesn’t really have an overarching villain but the hag was cool. however you do get introduced to raphael and he goes HARD. just such a disney movie baddie. everything you want from a demon trying to tempt the heroes

also the myconids in act 1 are delightful. so colorful and the political drama is so fun

act 2 so far the big bad is voiced by jk simmons and o. m. g. i forgot simmons worked on the game and after the first cutscene with that guy i ran to look up the va. he’s EXCELLENT.

now that i’m over the level “hump” so my party doesn’t die all the time, truly the biggest challenge was deciding who to romance 🤨 my instinct was astarion cause i love vampires but the way he talks. so weird. and he gets mad if i do anything nice for everyone. shadowheart grew on me over time. she’s cool and always in my party cause clerics kick ass. lae’zel and i had like a “fling” but she’s just so mean idk what she wants man 🥲 karlach is delightful but i don’t think she matches my current character’s vibe so i’m gonna romance her if i play again. gale is a cutie but he talks too damn much. wyll wins for this playthrough because he’s so hot and also the first romance scene is the cutest shit i’ve seen in my life.

i do wish i could just be a whore in the game and keep flirting with everyone and pursue all the romance plots but idk if you can do that. they’re all hot
