#im autistic and ive always either had a strong like or strong uncomfortablity (??) with certain textures#esp with food like theres textures i love#and then there's textures that put me in fight or flight mode#but in the past year i tried new food that are now my favs!!#im proud of myself for allowing myself to (slowly but surely) expand my taste buds#i still tense up when im offered to try smthn new on the spot tho..... lol#loafbud#doodle#this scenario happens with me a lot#it makes it worse when it's on-the-spot and im being watched to see what my reaction is LOL!!! /lh#instead of eating right away i do a lot of sniffing and staring#and holding it at a safe distance like the food's gonna bite me or smthn 💀
