#its past noon and the dishwasher is STILL running even though my dad said he would run it this morning#we have no clean dessert plates 1 microwavable ceramic bowl about 5 clean glasses (4 cause i took 1)#none of the plastic cups i prefer to drink out of are clean (theyre all in the dishwasher)#and i asked him last night if we could run the dishwasher and he said no he would run it this morning#which i assumed would be BEFORE 11#i shouldve just started it last night anyway istg#and like it really isnt that big a deal it's just.. immensely frustrating#cause for a while we'd run it every night (or every other night if it was really empty)#which was nice cause if we used any pots or pans we could just put em in the dishwasher instead of washing em by hand#and we would run it at night so the dishes would be pretty much dry by morning so we could empty it then and start putting dirty dishes in#but my dad likes to wait until you have to spend like 5 minutes rearranging stuff#because there's so many dirty dishes you're trying to cram in there#which usually means there's dirty dishes in the sink and on the counter because we have nowhere to put them#and using the dishwasher saves water and is just more convenient
