Gotta love how Bill Hader directs live action as if he was directing an animated cartoon.. Because thats exactly how some of the left field things that happen on BARRY feel like.. Actual live action cartoon.

Like what he does requires type of thinking that you dont get if you specialise just on live action. But not everybody can make it work.

#And it makes sense given his time he spend hanging around the South Park guys and Pixar writing teams..#and ofc SNL #absurd comedy #barry hbo #i remember back in uni when we had some editing masterclass #and our animation atelier was mixed with ppl who did live action #and the difference in thinking and coming up with ideas was fascinating #bounds of reality vs endless possibilities of animation
