I can't even really believe i get to type these words right now but i saw nct dream. I SAW NCT DREAM T-T

The band that truly got me through all my struggles of 2021 and 2022... the band that inspired me to start posting fanart, the band that inspired me to make fmvs, the band that inspired me to learn how to make song mashups, the band that inspired me to write stories and dream about writing a graphic novel, the band i clung to when i fell in love and the band that i clung to when i lost that love, the band I've had dreams about and the band I've prayed to god to keep safe nearly every night. I saw Haechan with my own eyes, the man who's been my muse and source of comfort for nearly two years. I saw him dance, and i heard him sing. I heard him speak... It feels so surreal. It also feels a little bittersweet, because the person i always wanted to see them with is no longer in my life, for reasons I don't quite understand (which is also probably why I've been more inactive on here...). but i guess the only constant in life is change. C, if you happen to see this, i held you in my heart through the whole concert. and i hope someday our shores won't have such a deep sea between them, and we can see them together like we promised each other.

but yes. I saw NCT Dream. They were somehow more substantial than I could've imagined, stronger and more human than I could've ever experienced through a screen. Their dancing was incredible. Haechan's voice was absolutely angelic. Mark's rapping was somehow so much more badass in person. Jaemin and Chenle were charming and charismatic. Jeno enthusiastic and bashful. Jisung adorable. Renjun elegant in everything he did. I finally got to see how they came across in person-- so different from onscreen, somehow. Their performance of Boom was maybe my favorite: it's always been my favorite <3. I feel so grateful and still very shocked and spellbound. "In a Dream" was an apt title for this tour, because that's still how i feel. <333
